This is the land next to a community play space. Land owned by AA Homes & Housing/Ansari. Council took them to court after a yr of fires, squatting & drug dealing. Astonishingly court decided site is secure & tidy enough. The law is messed up. @JackHardy9@robjfirth
Lovely visiting the beautiful Fourth Reserve today and seeing the fantastic work they are doing.
We also spoke about Gorne Wood, I know how important it is. I’ll be writing to the developers urging them to sell the land at a fair price, and I’ll keep backing the local campaign.
We see councils all over the UK trying their best to plant more trees, but with dwindling budgets and other pressing issues, we understand why tree planting can get pushed down the list. That's where we step in.

Children are #MadeToMove, their clothing should be too! We’re proud to be part of the #ActiveUniformAlliance, a group of organisations calling for all primary schools to adopt an always-active uniform, enabling children to move, play and learn all day. https://t.co/Hcy9W8Q9h4
Word! This is what children say when you ask them why #adventureplaygrounds are special and different to fixed equipment playgrounds typically found in parks and on housing estates. Staff/workers. Fun, varied play activities. Friends. Safety. @CfYoungLives@Paul_Lindley
Trees are vital for carbon capture, but what does that really mean?
Leaves on growing trees trap carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, and keep hold of it until the tree dies. Carbon capture is just one of the ways trees are an incredible tool for cleaner air and greener environments 🌳🌳
