@SandyTeam_Chile @NewYorker#Bolivia@washingtonpost
What actually happened:
1) Oct election:Evo/MAS committed election fraud
2) Oct 21:Country STOPPED for 21 days denouncing Evo's abuses
3) Nov 9:Evo went to Chapare to arm his followers
4) Nov 10:OAS confirmed fraud
5) Nov 10:Evo's ppl resigned in mass
@MariaSTrigo@thegreatglatsky Evo asking his ppl to vote for Lara (PDC VP) because Lara promised to not privatize (and has publicly made leftist proposals not included in PDC formal plan )
When will you update the world that Bolivia’s left is alive and rebranded as PDC party?
https://t.co/khSLasydEC
@MariaSTrigo@thegreatglatsky -Tuto (Alianza) is center right
-Paz-Lara (PDC) is left. Lara is making populist ( financially unrealistic) promises ( 2000 bs/ mo bonus for the elderly) . MRI and MAS-ppl are in its rolls. Evo’s 1mm ppl (who voted null august) will align with PDC
@Reuters This is “desperate politicians” (who, btw, are terrible actors) trying out some of the tricks from “reality tv” on the Bolivian public.
Looks like Reuters is even for credulous and manipulable than the uneducated Bolivians!
@frankiepoedel2@MarioNawfal Democracy requires term limits, checks and balances and independence of its branches. All too easy to eliminate. Power corrupts all
@Claros_W0@CMonteroOficial Poder corrompe. Por eso es crítico que ningún cargo público (político, como presidente, gobernador, alcalde) permita reelección. Imagínate si Arce supiera que solo tiene 5 años para marcar historia, no perdería tiempo en manipulación y peleas absurdas
@narrative_hole lol…”coup” requested by the president himself to improve his popularity! Amazing how politics now uses the recopiles of “reality” television to manipulate the ignorant masses
🔵 #ANF | El Tribunal reconoció que Añez fue presidenta desde el 12 de noviembre de 2019 hasta el 8 de noviembre de 2020, cuando Luis Arce tomó juramento en la Asamblea Legislativa.
