On Friday I got sworn in as an attorney for the District of Columbia & today I found out that I PASSED THE FLORIDA BAR! I took the exam 5 days before having my son, so I am even more proud of myself!
What we are witnessing, rabid, violent mobs storming the Capitol to overturn legitimate election results, this is precisely the kind of thing that happens in Cuba and Venezuela where lawless dictators send rapid response brigades to intimidate and attack political opponents.
@jazmenbray I remember feeling the same way. I tweaked my Barbri schedule/lessons to my learning style and I'm so glad. I wasn't very impressed to be honest [considering how expensive it was].
@caschumacher22 There are exceptions to the First Amendment. https://t.co/8iH0NsXiSi this statute has been upheld by the FL Supreme Court and most states have something similar
This week, I am introducing the Ending Qualified Immunity Act to eliminate qualified immunity and restore Americans’ ability to obtain relief when police officers violate their constitutionally secured rights.
Today, IJ attorneys @pjaicomo & Anya Bidwell made the need for #PoliceAccountability loud and clear.
When #SCOTUS created #QualifiedImmunity, it promised it wouldn't provide a “license to lawless conduct” for gov't officials. But, plainly, it has.

@CityFurniture @AshleyHomeStore We’ve already spoken to the social media team and while you’re all *much* nicer than the other customer service reps, there are no real solutions other than the ones I referenced above.
@KristenBotica The thing is that I took them out of the packaging and put them in the diaper changer. We’ve been using them for months without issue. Now to pay double for pampers but worth it not having to deal with the mess
@MarkthePieGuy How frustrating! Never again. We normally don’t get delivery, but leaving our home with all this hurricane chaos is too much with the baby.
@amooresiue13 Ohhhh yeah. Most of the season did, really. Not videos or entire episodes, but the plot. Extras, post production people, etc. Reddit was on it: https://t.co/yeTpory8jb
8 months after taking the July 2018 Bar and 1 government shutdown later, I am finally certified by the DC Committee on Admissions! Two more weeks until I get the February 2019 Florida Bar results! -nervous laugh-
It’s truly great to be a #UFLaw Gator! The entire UF Law community – our students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends – has made this happen. Together we will continue to rise!
