COST PER KILOMETER : BETWEEN A POET AND AN ANIMAL FARMER
In the multitude of words, there is sin. Proverbs 10 v 19.
You've wasted your cost per time to write these lengthy words but what you've not wasted is your folly.
You've shown the world what it is to be a legendary yet foolish. The 'gods' might have given you a pen but what it failed to give to you was its làákàyè to discern when to be wise.
Good enough you have said you are not an ENGINEER - I praise you for that - . Now to lecture you, yes you can measure a road construction project by its cost per kilometer. This is a measure common to those who are engineers and not poets. Even if the construction is in phases, it can still be measured.
If you cared to watch the first interview where David talked about the budget, he reeled out figures yet Rufai asked what the cost per kilometer was and there was dilly dally. Now David knows his onion. He's a professor in construction experience as he alluded. He at best has tried his best in ensuring that the country is kept abreast regarding figures of the coastal road. I praise him for how he reeled out those figures from his head when he was asked in his first interview.
It is foolish of you to take up fight where your concern isn't needed. I do not know Rufai neither do I know David. If Rufai wants to be a thorn in David's flesh because he wants to get to the bottom of what the cost per kilometer of the road is, allow him. Do not with due respect score cheap points and enter a field even you don't know. You are more than this as a mentor to people.
The Bible admonishes us in James 1 v 5 that "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you".
It is of hope that you would heed to the Bible verses above but if you would not, I believe Taju needs some assistance. Put your cost per time to good use.
