@MombasaEmir Have you been to that place? I have and can tell you it is fully recovered. The year after that fire there was a much bigger fire in Mt Kenya and no one owned up and no one got compensation. That area has still not recovered
@PaulMutie14@Liakunu001@DrMumbiSeraki Do you actually understand what agreement we have in place? It is us, Kenya, that has failed to apply our laws - we have the power, read the agreement and see….
@herroboter I live in one and have been to the other. Nanyuki is thriving and alive. Isiolo is broken, corrupt and infested with corruption. I wish it wasn’t so but the truth is plain to see. If you can’t see the difference you are either blind or stupid
@Kang__ster@thuo_waithera@hiko_ryu What rubbish. You truly stupid. please do try to open your eyes and see what is in frintnifnyounand not what the goons and corrupt lawyers want you to see
@king__davie and where is that industry now? Who employs most in the town? Read the evidence, BATUK is the biggest single employer then Ol Pejeta and third the flower farms. Without BATUK there would be no Nanyuki
People from Nanyuki (including myself) and the surrounding areas can tell you that the benefits of having BATUK there far outweigh the drawbacks. Their economic and social contributions are too important to ignore or let go.
@nklonex@Honeyfarsafi If they did the police would actually do their job and investigate without asking g for a bribe first. if you flip it to Kenyan in UK, do you really expect KDF to investigate an alleged crime in another country? Of course not
@thuo_waithera@LilyFloret@Honeyfarsafi Just 3 weeks ago in Timau 6 girls under 8 were drowned by some of the people in the village because they might have been witches….
@DanielJone29135@LilyFloret@Honeyfarsafi True💯💯
Imagine if the solution to every atrocity committed by less than 1% was "do away with it". We'd have no schools, no hospitals, banks, insurance companies,nothing
@BintyMohamed@amenya_nelson why? Where is any sound reason or evidence? Next it will be flower farms, then tour operators. Do you want us to magic up money and jobs?
@EngAweSam@amenya_nelson People living in Nanyuki and the neighbouring environs can testify the great works BATUK has done within that region.
Schools,roads,hospitals and other social amenities have benefited alot....quite a huge number of civilians have been employed in their camps.. Kahawa and Nyki
@Kenyans Anyone in Aviation will tell you that BATUK benefits not just Nanyuki area. There are many people earning a living in Kenya because of BATUK .
@LilyFloret@Honeyfarsafi I am amazed by folks who've never lived in Nanyuki telling us about what BATUK is or isn't. It the lifeline if Nanyuki's economy and as horrible as rape is it is so rare that if that were grounds for it to be shut down,then the KDF should be the first to go
@thuo_waithera@LilyFloret@Honeyfarsafi Alleluia! Our own police and KDF are 1000% worse and we know it. But easier to blame someone else than admit our own faults
