@LancePinkham Why is it too high in CA? I consistently point to the government: argument 1) The state, argument 2) Federal / The Iran War. Argument 1) has been a problem for a very long time. Argument 2) is supposedly transitory - we’ll find out if thats true.

@LancePinkham It was NOT 2.50 in CA but it was the national avg - thats my point. We exceed and continue to exceed the national average by a large margin. Do other states not fund roads, fix potholes, clean spills? Why are we paying about $7 when the natl avg is ~4?

@detroitpat1 @VerminusM Its hard to make the argument that Mossad would want to push to get Jews to migrate when the late 40s was clearly a trend to expel the Jews neighboring countries. There could have been isolated cases, again there isnt strong evidence, but that does not cover for the expulsion

@detroitpat1 @VerminusM You seemed to argue against Uris comment above that Jews were violently expelled by using synagogue bombings by Mossad as the counter. If you look back at records Israel did not have the capacity to take that level of immigration so quickly, having just fought a war..

The evidence on it is scant at best, but I wouldn’t look at this one sided - Rashid Ali was known to have ties to Nazi Germany and made lives very difficult for the 150k Jews living there at the time. I had family arrested for being “collaborators”

@detroitpat1 @VerminusM Can you name one of the synagogues that was bombed and send the coordinates. My family fled Bagdad in the late 40s due to antisemitism and incidents such as the Farhud - many of them are still alive. I can share the supposed locations with them.
