@Evrenus19@Daily_MailUS Cure? That's the wrong word entirely. Autism isn't a disease, it's a different way of processing the world. We don't 'cure' people for thinking differently, speaking different languages, or loving differently. Better education means understanding that, not erasing it.
@BetGameCouncil The “£4.3 bn black-market” figure comes from a YouGov survey of just 2k people commissioned by the BGC itself.
data from the Gam Comm shows illegal gambling in Britain is tiny under 0.2 % of total spend. The “black-market” claim is an industry point to resist reform and tax.
@BetGameCouncil EY’s report was commissioned and paid for by the BGC. It models job losses using multipliers that assume every pound lost from gam tax vanishes from the economy, it doesn’t. Money spent elsewhere still supports jobs and tax rev. Thats not independent analysis, its lobbying maths.
@BetGameCouncil Lol. Jobs you replace with code and AI already (Rhodes even says about your level of ai in support and contents). Hit the economy, you extract money, money you take is not kept in communities. Black market, most of the games on these sites are made by your members dev studios...
The Commission now takes live behavioural data feeds from operators (ROCD) to watch players in real time — yet still refuses hard limits or transparency.
@Zidave1@fionatwycross@lisanandy@DCMS@fi_action@Jackie_olden1 Ha I have the same issue from both of them too.
Some of the things this data showed is completely covered up by gambling commission. The stack of intentionally hidden failures is ever growing.
