Ok I'm totally shocked that the biggest pizza chain in US is one I've NEVER heard of.

Hunt Brothers Pizza has 9,500+ locations?!

Thats far more than Domino's (6,900), Pizza Hut (6,800) or Papa Johns (5,200).

From a quick read on it, they only to seriously grow the biz in 1991 but actually used convenience stores for their distribution model. So, not a real restaurant chain per se, but brilliant way to scale up distribution.

(Not much can be found on them, anyone know how much revenue these guys do?)

They're nowhere near NYC or LA or Miami or San Francisco. But the fact there is a brand THAT BIG that one never heard of living in US, just makes me think of the sheer size of the US economy & territory.

That is how big of a platform this country is for you to build on, whether you want to go big or small. As an important employee, partner, or solo founder, just build something.
