After eleven years, it's time to update my London Underground concentric-circles-and-spokes map. Completely redrawn from centre to edges, it's so much better than before, and more geographically accurate than the official map.
Nigel farage wants you to think that Britain has an immigration problem.
It doesn't.
Britain had a problem with millionaires hoarding wealth, egged on by politicians and the press.
Britain has a problem with racism.
Britain has a @Nigel_Farage problem.
RT if you agree.
There are families just coming to terms with yesterday’s events, parents grieving for their murdered children and survivors still trying to process what they witnessed.
The violent scenes in Southport tonight will only further traumatise a community that is already struggling to come to terms with this attack.
Mindless violence directed at the very people who ran towards the danger yesterday, and outright Islamaphobia, only distract from the work of delivering justice.
The real story tonight is of the thousands who gathered at the vigil in Southport in memory of Bebe, Elsie and Alice. For the sake of their loved ones, this disorder needs to stop so the police do their jobs.
APPEAL | A number of officers have been injured, cars set alight & a shop broken into & looted in Southport this evening. This is completely unacceptable. We're gathering evidence & those responsible will be brought to justice. If you have footage of those involved DM @MerPolCC
Years of Tory rule normalising Islamophobia and anti-asylum seeker rhetoric (solely to see off Farage and his cronies) has led to this moment: thugs rioting, attacking the police, dishonouring the victims of the Southport attack. Shame on all of them.
Really feel for the people of Southport who are dealing with the most horrendous, traumatic event in living memory and now have to contend with a bunch of bused-in coke heads who have decided to start a race riot.

New stats on school attendance "cause for alarm"
18% of secondary students had an attendance rate of less than 80% last year - equivalent to missing at least one day of school a week
Attendance in primary is better - but worse than prior to pandemic⬇️
