Big smiles from Christina and Victor on the deck of the USS John P. Murtha, as they waited to be escorted for their routine post-mission medical checks.

24 hour opd service ? What’s all this ? If whatever you’re having is not an emergency sit at home and come in the morning. Healthcare workers are already stretched thin . I’m sure the hours drs work is a violation of their human rights somewhere

A TRIBUTE TO DR. ABIBOYE CHEDUKO YIFIEYEH
With deep sorrow and profound respect, I pay tribute to a remarkable man, Dr. Abiboye Cheduko Yifieyeh, whose life was a shining example of service, excellence, and compassion.
Dr. Yifieyeh was not only a dedicated paediatric surgeon and educator but also a devoted pastor. He served both in the healing of the body and the nurturing of the soul, touching countless lives through his medical practice and his ministry. His commitment to helping others was more than a profession, it was a divine calling he fulfilled with humility, wisdom and unwavering faith.
As a doctor, he brought hope and healing to many families. As a teacher, he shaped the minds and futures of young professionals. And as a pastor, he guided, inspired, and strengthened the spiritual lives of many. His life reflected true service, one rooted in love, kindness, and purpose.
He will be remembered not only for his achievements but for his gentle spirit, his compassion, and the genuine care he showed to everyone he encountered. His legacy lives on in the lives he saved, the students he mentored, and the souls he uplifted.
Though his passing leaves a great void, we are comforted by the impact he made and the lives he transformed. His work on earth may be done, but his legacy continues to speak.
Rest well, Doctor. Rest well, Pastor. You have fought a good fight.
Gone, but never forgotten.
The rate determining step is always the bosses you are working under.
And your love for the specialty is directly proportional to how they treat you.
