@bryan_johnson brother, i think the question you’re wrestling with is whether we should spend our time trying to live longer, or spend the time we have here on earth making it as meaningful and fulfilling as possible

The easiest way to improve outbound results?
It's not better copy.
Not more AI or more volume.
It's better targeting.
Segment your lists properly.
Verify your data.
Focus on relevance.

A simple outbound framework:
*Target the right companies.
*Find the right people.
*Send relevant messaging.
*Follow up consistently.
The fundamentals still win.

The easiest side business doesn't start with an idea.
It starts with documenting what you already do every day.
I posted 500+ pieces about buying internet businesses. Built 15K email subscribers just from showing my work. 600 people bought my workshops.
That list has done over $1M in revenue. Wasn't even the point when I started it.
Then I bought a deal sourcing tool, rebuilt it with Claude Code, and I'm relaunching it to that same list. Should do $10K/month as a side project.
The whole playbook is embarrassingly obvious. Document, build the audience, sell the sawdust, let the sawdust tell you what to build next.
Most people would rather brainstorm the perfect product for 6 months than just talk about what they already know.
The best outbound campaigns don't start in the inbox.
They start long before that.
With content. With visibility. With authority.
People respond differently when they've already seen your name and your ideas. Familiarity reduces friction.
Authority increases response rates.
Kevin O'Leary says Steve Jobs taught him the one skill every entrepreneur needs to master
"I learned this from Steve Jobs. I told this story countless times. He was not a nice guy, but in the 90s, I made all of his software for the Mac in schools, 110,000 buildings. He was an absolute a**hole, but he taught me some very important things, and he was wildly successful."
"He said that each day, including you, each day there will be three things you have to get done, just three, and that's called the signal."
"And there's going to be a plethora of things that are going to stop you from doing that and that's called the noise. So the only thing you have to get good at in your life to be an entrepreneur is to distinguish what's signal and what's noise."
"And then you do not let noise get in the way of getting the three things done. They get done first."
Volume negates luck.
More outreach creates more conversations.
More follow-ups create more opportunities.
More content creates more visibility.
Most people underestimate what happens when they consistently do 10x more than everyone else.
The best outbound campaigns don't feel like outbound campaigns.
They feel relevant, personal, and written by a real person.
The worst ones feel automated.
Your prospects know the difference within seconds.

Most founders spend months improving their product.
Then spend 10 minutes thinking about distribution.
That's backwards. Build an audience, find a pain point, then build the solution.

Outbound isn't about sending emails or messages.
It's about creating relevant conversations with the right people at the right time.
The email is just the delivery mechanism.
One of the biggest mistakes founders make is waiting until revenue slows down before investing in outbound.
Pipeline should be built before you need it.
