There are citizens in my riding who are unable to afford their mortgage renewal. The only options for them are to sell at a loss or face foreclosure & a court ordered sale. This is why court ordered sales are on the rise in BC. There are no bailouts for them but they will be paying for Carney's bailouts for corporate developers in Vancouver.
So...still waiting @ICBC@NDP@GlobalBC. Son is an N driver, hits 2-yrs clean record in a week. No answers on website about whether or not he needs to take the test. Website says change will happen "this summer" no date. Call @ICBC -they don't know when this will happen either.
NEW - BC making major changes to ICBC graduated licensing program for new drivers.
Appears to be eliminating need for 2nd road test go from N to full license, under new bill.
Instead, 12m "restriction period."
Seeking details.
Will affect potentially thousands of new drivers.

Politics aside - my reporter gut has always sensed that Poilievre is the good guy.
People forget he could walk away any day & enjoy his pension - but he chooses to stick around & try to serve the people.
Glad people are seeing this side of him. #cdnpoli@PierrePoilievre
Veteran journalist Vaughn Palmer on David Eby’s fiscal record:
“The $17 billion turnaround in just three years ranks as the most dramatic reversal in the B.C. government bottom line in the more than 40 years I have been covering provincial finances.”

Looks like "burn it all down" former BC Civil Liberties exec director Harsha Walia was arrested. Her "comrades" were likely trying a "de-arrest". @grenouf@TerryGlavin@bobmackin
Seeing police act on terrorist sympathizers is a rarity, however let these yummy Pali tears brighten your day as Vancouver Police take out the trash in this rare unicorn sighting outside of an Apple Store on Black Friday.

Some wise words for Canadians from @davidfrum, reminding us that we can’t correct past wrongs by defaming the ideal of our liberal democracy.
“You live in a good and just society. You owe honour to those who built it for you.”

My bro Paul was a 30+ year aboriginal veteran who grew up outside Prince George.
He served Canada with dignity and honor. He always made time to try and help fellow CAF who were homeless or suffering from PTSD.
He attended every funeral or memorial he could for his fallen brothers and sisters.
Sadly he passed away a couple of years ago. He is dearly missed, especially during the holidays. He was always welcome to come with his well trained dog for any holiday meal or BBQ.
Anyone offended by honoring our First Nation veterans is a horrible person. I mean it. Paul sacrificed everything for Canada and died shortly after retiring and owning his own home.
This video is actually very indicative of the ‘original sin’ ideology behind Eby’s radical reconciliation policies.
He’s explicit that the Declaration Act (DRIPA/UNDRIP) is about “correcting [the] original colonial mistake” and that “it works for First Nations, it works for the provincial government…” but unmentioned is whether it works for British Columbians.
If the BC government isn’t looking out for the broader public interest, who is?
