$ASTS Raises $1B in Convertible Notes - Eyeing Vertical Integration via Launch Provider Acquisitions?
> Yesterday, AST SpaceMobile announced a proposed private offering of $1.0 billion of Convertible Senior Notes due 2034.
> A key highlight from the press release is their plan to use the remaining net proceeds for "an expanding universe of growth initiatives and secure additional access to orbit... including partnerships and/or acquisitions to further vertically integrate its business and mitigate risks associated with third-party launch providers."
> They explicitly noted no current understandings or agreements on such deals, but this signals a clear strategic shift toward reducing dependency on external launchers amid recent delays (e.g., Blue Origin New Glenn issues pushing service to 2027).
Why Launch Capability Matters for $ASTS 👇
$ASTS's BlueBird satellites are large and heavy, making them challenging for standard rideshares. They've used SpaceX Falcon 9 successfully but rely on a mix including Blue Origin's New Glenn and others (e.g., ISRO). Multiple providers add resilience, but owning or controlling more of the stack could secure dedicated capacity, control costs/timelines, and de-risk the massive constellation rollout needed for global direct-to-cell service.
This mirrors $RKLB's playbook with their recent ~$8B acquisition of Iridium $IRDM, combining launch, manufacturing, and operations into a fully vertically integrated powerhouse with recurring revenue from an existing constellation. $ASTS could pursue something similar on the launch side to accelerate their "expanding universe of growth."
Potential Acquisition Targets 🎯
$ASTS needs proven or near-term reliable capacity, not pure startups. Let's check what the market has to offer: 🧵 👇
$ADUR, another important milestone for Aduro: the feedstock mapping phase with ECOCE is complete, paving the way for HCT testing on real Mexican plastic waste. Not a breakthrough yet, but a clear thesis-strengthening step

There isnt enough "hard proof" yet for casual investors to differentiate $ADUR from countless recycling graveyard companies that failed to scale. But once you dig into the story instead of dismissing it right away, the facts all point in the same direction https://t.co/m3MayMVbGn
@localbounti $LOCL
Hi! Hope you're doing well! 🙂💚
I'd love to see this account active again. It would be great to follow Local Bounti's new products, company updates, and milestones here on X.
Any plans to return? 🌱
$NAUT, posts like this are often underrated. They're not flashy PR—they show the Nautilus Voyager becoming part of real research workflows. For a platform company, that's exactly how long-term moat and adoption are built 🧬🧬🧬

We examined 10 investment cases from nuclear plants to biotech R&D.
In nearly every one, US and European costs run 50–300% above best-in-class.
See why capital goes where it goes – case by case: https://t.co/kW24qZkHC3
Faced with an energy crisis in the 1970s, France went nuclear.
Under the Messmer Plan, it built ~50 reactors in 15 years, transitioning its grid from fossil fuels to reliable, low-emissions power – a shift that defines its energy landscape to this day.

$EOSE Many investors see only the dilution. Smart investors ask what the capital is building.
$EOSE expects to raise ~$75 million through its rights offering, alongside a $75 million equity investment from Hudson Bay Capital Management, while Frontier Power USA’s total expected equity investment increases to $375 million, including Eos’ planned $125 million contribution.
This isn’t just about raising cash—it’s about funding the next stage of growth. The capital will help expand U.S. manufacturing, scale Eos’ zinc-based long-duration batteries, and accelerate deployment across America’s power grid.
Short-term, dilution may pressure the stock. Long-term, if Frontier successfully scales production and commercial adoption, today’s capital raise could become the foundation for tomorrow’s growth.
We shared our full thesis on $GRRR this morning before the raise was announced
Regardless of this announcement we have been adding during the pull back over the last 2 weeks
We believe these deals have changed the trajectory for $GRRR and it is severely undervalued now
There is a 5 X move here, just to get back to Fair Value
