@gasugasu1984@Jansant It's not fun when you snap the bones in your leg just above the ankle, done that, both bones above one of my ankles.
At least it was without months of traction in a hospital bed, done that as well....
@Leo_Puglisi6 In primary school we played a team with a state team player.
You were only allowed to bounce the ball once, he would just hand pass the ball into the ground and it would bounce back into his hands....
We lost by about 300 points.
I played full forward and touched the ball once.π€£
@railmaps My dad is now retired, for decades now I have described to my mother his driving of a car like driving a WW2 battle tank, just grinding through the gears. He has only gotten worse over the years.
I have told him he needs to walk to his bowls club, rusty elbow he has now.π»
@random_snakes If they build this where I live it wouldn't work, to humid for evaporative cooling, It would just feed mould growth.
Then if it's dry enough for it do you have enough water for this?
Also where I live they encourage people to use less than 155 litres a day, 41 gallons....
@ArchieBendeli@SEN_Cricket@1116sen@tommorris32@beastieboy07@CobramEstate My apologies Archie, I should have looked where you came from.
Travis Head out bazzballed the bazballers, but I preferred our dominating team of the 90s.
It wasn't just Warne, it was just great test match cricket in my mind.
But yes it was Warne...
@ArchieBendeli@SEN_Cricket@1116sen@tommorris32@beastieboy07@CobramEstate Bazzball got an ashes win in a losing series in Australia, well done, you got 1 win.
Plus it got a drawn series at home.
It was a failure.
The failures it has brought against the other test playing nations is just icing on the cake.
@DPrasanthNair Looking forward to the Austria v Algeria match.
The draw between Australia and Paraguay was what I expected.
Sepp Blatter would be proud with what FIFA has become....
@Llib7 If they had built the Murrumbeena section in a trench, all of those properties next to the line would need to have been forcibly acquired and bulldozed probably.
Muzza was best when it had it's pile of bluestone at the eastern side of the station, perfect for us then teens....

@thatscricketjm It's rare but it does happen and is understandably exciting.
I've seen it happen a couple of times. Once in person in an under 12 match and I remember seeing Greg Blewett do it is an Australia v India test match on tv.
@aussiewongm@adammw My mind just has entrance of the gladiators playing, all the notes being "do's", like when Homer moves Bart and Lisa into the same room just like the odd couple, her favourite movie.
"Badoo, badoo, badooo."
Bart's sitting there saying "I'm going to make your life a living hell."
@gomichild I was at the doctors today just waiting to see the nurse, watching master chef.
It was to much showmanship, rather than cooking.
I was just thinking how much I miss the showmanship on iron chef,
with it's kitchen stadium.
@dieworkwear Bird flu is a real thing.
H5 is currently breaking out where I live, thankfully its on the otherside of the country and Australia is a big place with deserts in between.
It doesn't make much difference it can still spread.
@ScientificSaaS@earthcurated Synthetic rubber, felt and glue. They last for centuries.
Personally this is what I think it is too smart by half.
Tennis isn't played for health and fitness, its set up to make money from and this is just allowing the externalising of environmental issues.
Microplastics.
@random_snakes I know its cars your talking of, but even the the heat coming into houses.
This year's winter seems to not even really exist. Its getting worse.
@random_snakes I put empty boxes on my western facing window inside of the curtains and even cover south facing windows.
Australia's hot, even on the southern coast.
My neighbours recently sold, and the new owners cut all the trees down adding to the heat island effect, yay.
