बाराबंकी जिले में स्थित हाजी वारिस अली शाह की मजार पर खेला जाने वाला होली का त्योहार सांप्रदायिक सौहार्द की मिसाल पेश करता है. इस मजार में होली के दिन हर धर्म के लोग रंगों से सराबोर नजर आते हैं.

रानी लक्ष्मीबाई की मुस्लिम महिला अंगरक्षक का नाम मुँदार खातून था। वह 1857 के विद्रोह के दौरान लक्ष्मीबाई की भरोसेमंद,वफादार साथी थीं। मुँदार को रानी की सेवा करने और झाँसी की घेराबंदी के दौरान ब्रिटिश सेना के खिलाफ झाँसी की रक्षा करने में उनकी बहादुरी और समर्पण के लिए जान�� जाता था

एक रिवायत के मुताबिक आपकी मज़ार पर हज़रत खिजर की रेगुलर आमद होती रहती है

Ahmad-e-Noori Qadiri (Marehra Etah)

He was the last Qutub of Marehra dynasty became the Sajjadah Nasheen of Marehra Sharif after the demise of Shah Aal-e-Rasool Ahmadi. Hadrat Noori Miyan Saheb was born on 19th of Shawal 1255 hijri (corresponding to 26th December, 1839)
