Joseph Bazalgette has added more years to your life than every doctor, drug and diet book combined, and you have almost certainly never heard his name.

London, 1858. The Thames is a slow brown soup of human waste, cholera has carried off tens of thousands in waves, and the sharpest medical minds in the Empire are quite certain the disease is spread by foul air. Then, one hot summer, the river's stench rolls through the open windows of Parliament and curls the honourable members' order papers, and the funds for a solution materialise with a speed that decades of dead paupers had somehow never managed.

The job falls to Bazalgette, and the scale of what he does is difficult to overstate. Miles of brick sewer beyond counting, threaded under a living city, to intercept the filth and carry it downstream of the people forced to drink from the same water. Then the detail that makes him a quiet genius: told what size the pipes needed to be, he doubled every one of them, muttering that the work would only be done once and a century of Londoners not yet born might like some room. He was right. His pipes ran the capital for the next hundred years.

Cholera in London simply stopped. He never cured a soul. He just put a wall of engineering between people and their own waste, years before the profession would concede that was where the sickness lived at all. The survival curve leapt, and it has been living off his brickwork ever since.

Then came the men who decided the true menace was your breakfast.

A full century after Bazalgette bought the West its longevity in bulk, Ancel Keys spent the 1950s convincing it that the eggs, the beef fat and the butter, the fare of every ancestor who ever drew breath, were the assassins in the pantry. Magazine covers followed. So did the dietary decrees, the low-fat sermon, the great national defection to margarine.

The lifespan kept rising anyway, which the guidance took as its own applause. It was nothing of the sort. Bazalgette had banked such a colossal surplus of clean water and working drains that not even half a century of official advice to abandon real food could quite overdraw the account.

So weigh the honours. Keys has the fame, the pyramid, the legacy in every hospital menu. Bazalgette has a single soot-blackened statue on the Embankment, pinned to the very road he laid across his masterpiece, passed daily by thousands who never turn their heads.

One man handed you decades and asked for not a word of thanks. The other talked you out of the food that was never guilty, and dined out on it forever.

Cast the plumber in bronze in every city you can find. He is the sole reason the nutritionists had anyone left to lecture.

It's going down in Minnesota... They are who we thought they were! The Minnesota RINO establishment hates Mike Lindell just like they secretly hate President Trump. Nobody knows who is "electable" in Minnesota, because we haven't had a legitimate election in Minnesota since our deep state ran a coup in Somalia and brought Ilhan Omar's father over. We ended up with Ilhan Omar in congress. We haven't had a legitimate election in Minnesota since black hawk down and probably before that.

I say the stuff everybody knows but is either too scared or too dishonest to say in public. I just tell it like it is. Ballot harvesting is just the tip of the iceberg in Minnesota. Absentee ballot boards, machines, AVR, nursing homes, etc. Mike Lindell will win, if our elections are legitimate.

A month before her passing in 2017, Louise L. Hay wrote something that still resonates deeply:

“I’ll be turning 90 this Saturday. My younger years were filled with fear, but now my days are filled with trust and confidence.

My life didn’t really start to make sense until my mid-40s. At 50, I began writing—on a very small scale. My first year, I earned just \$42. At 55, I ventured into the world of computers, which terrified me, but I took classes and overcame my fears.

Today, I own three computers and travel everywhere with my iPad and iPhone. At 60, I planted my first garden. Around that time, I joined kids’ art classes and started painting. In my 70s and 80s, I became even more creative, and my life just kept getting richer and more fulfilling.

I still write, give talks, and teach by example. I’m always reading, learning, and growing. I run a successful publishing company and two nonprofits. I’m an avid organic gardener and grow most of my own food. I love people and parties, have many loving friends, and have traveled the world. I still paint and take classes. My life has become a treasure trove of experiences.

I want to encourage you to consciously shape your later years and realize that they can be the most rewarding chapter of your life. Your future is always bright, no matter your age. Let these years become your treasure years.

Bill Donahue reminds us that this verse dismantles the entire architecture of religious dependency. It points directly to self-realization. The moment one looks inward not as a sinner but as a vessel of divine consciousness, the veil begins to lift.

The sacred was never absent, only unattended.

It was great to see so many foreigners enjoy themselves in the US and have positive reactions to Americans.

But some of this was sad because it was clear that many had absurd preconceived notions due to mass media in their countries, especially in Europe.
