@SandyofCthulhu And it still happens, to a lesser extent but the media still tries to blame everything on videogames, as if violence didn't exist before. videogames were invented.

I can pretty much guarantee, that when GTA VI launches they're going to try and find something to blame it for.

@SandyofCthulhu I do, even on first person. The only exception is if the male VA is a lot better, but in my experience I've found female VAs to be better most of the time.

That said, it doesn't mean I can't enjoy games were there's only a male protagonist, RDR2 is the perfect example.

Funny enough I found the armored one easier to deal with than the base because of not having the shield wall, but point still stands.

@JezCorden If it wasn't for what happened to ID I'd be optimistic, I even said the whole situation wasn't as bad as I'd thought it'd be... Of course that was before learning about ID.

I understand changes were needed, but ID was THE studio I didn't want her to touch. It hurts a lot.

@SandyofCthulhu The thing is back then you had to actually launch the game balanced. Nowadays games (in general, not only AoE) have the "luxury" of updates.

So they launch unbalanced and broken, and essential use the players as free testers to then release a balance patch later.

@TheDKShadow @charlieINTEL @cecianasta @asha_shar Same here, I don't buy all the CODs but I'm a Treyarch guy so I would've definitely bought at least BO6, but of course gamepass.. I've played BO6 and BO7 a lot, but of course didn't buy them and haven't bought any in-game stuff either. Only used leftover points from previous CODs

@TheDKShadow @charlieINTEL @cecianasta @asha_shar I don't even play most of the Day 1 on gamepass games anyway, in fact TDA and BO7 were the only ones of those I played last year. So for me it's best to just buy the games and I get to support the studios directly.

Day 1 GP has to go if what happened to ID is the result.

@TheDKShadow @charlieINTEL @cecianasta @asha_shar Gamepass killed DOOM: The Dark Ages and with that most of ID, which sucks because the DLC is actually amazing, the devs deserved a chance at making another game.

As soon as my ultimate runs out I'll switch back to essential and actually buy the games I want like in the old days.

@SandyofCthulhu As gross as it might sound, this stuff is actually part of classical mythologies, like the Greek Minotaur or the Norse Sleipnir.

It's even in The Bible, with the Nephilim being the sons of Fallen Angels AKA Demons and Women.

It's gross, but still part of human cultures.

@mikefizzled @Urboyissues @IdleSloth84_ Yeah I was not aware of the fact that they essentially killed ID back when I first replied. I don't understand why they had to hit ID so badly. Aren't they supposed to be interested on more DOOM, Wolfenstein and Quake?
