Streathamite Actor-ish bike rider (Added real name to stage name to avoid confusion. Thus created more confusion). Exec Producer @theatren16/@eastlakeprods
Don’t go and see the last performance of #monkeysblood @VAULTFestival Sunday night because of the brill performances from @jamieeastlake & @_antoniaflo Go and see it coz it’s bonkers, funny & thought provoking. It also includes a monkey puppet, who, frankly, is the star of the show
Caught up with the @BBCOne version of #LesMiserables, really enjoying it. Call me a pedant though, but between 5&6 mins into Ep 4, Javert (fabulously played by David Oyelowo) wears his medal on 1st his left breast (proper), then his right. Continuity F up?
Back in front of a camera for the first time in 18 months - needs must. Great fun but bloody freezing. I can now add 'Old Codger' to my extensive (cough..) repertoire.
Just binged-listened to all 5 episodes of BBC R4’s Book of the Week – Michael Caine’s ‘Blow the Bloody Doors Off’. Among many anecdotes are some prescient bits of advice to anyone in the Theatre/Film world. Particularly the last minutes of episode 5. https://t.co/SXjv6a7DLO
It’s my birthday today (yesterday, 31st Dec, actually, forgot to post this), so a good time to look back at theatre for 2018. Last year I did my top 10. This year I’ll just do my highlights, given its been a bumpy road for @theatren16. So many I could choose from.
Some wonderful stuff, but @UnpolishedLDN ‘Flesh&Bone’, @WoLaboratory showcase at the Bunker, the opening of a scratch night, I honestly can’t remember which one (I’m old) hilarious ukulele. The cast & crew of @SayMyNameShow having to deal with debris.
@_SarahMilton @VAULTFestival @Miss_EmmyRose@eveappeal Brilliant. One of my favourites and one of the best to grace the stage @TheatreN16. If you haven't seen it, book now!
Went to meet @jamieeastlake who was on a 'flying' visit to London. Got shat on by a bird. Serendipity? Metaphor? Or just the normal shite that we both have to deal with? Anyway, I blame him.
@bbcpaddy@AdamRutherford The Maltese Cross depicted on the floor of that church (where is it, Wren-ish?) is used by a number of orgs. Sense of humour, those anatomists.
