In a raw on-camera moment on the Wild Card with Rachel Martin podcast, Melinda Gates says “we’re having a reckoning” as she finally speaks about Jeffrey Epstein and the people around him. She calls what happened to those girls “beyond heartbreaking” - and admits the Epstein revelations drag up “very painful times” from her marriage.

Then she draws a hard line. The unanswered questions, she says, are not for her - they’re for “those people… and my ex-husband.” She explains she had to leave the marriage, had to step away from the foundation, and says she’s “grateful to be away from all the muck.”

With Epstein files resurfacing and names back in the spotlight, her timing feels impossible to ignore. The reckoning she’s talking about doesn’t sound abstract - it sounds personal. And the man left holding the questions is Bill Gates.

Never thought we would hear this level of honesty from a Western leader, and certainly not Canada, given the direction of Canada in the past 25 years. Canada's shift towards multialignment is quite clear - and this level of honesty from Carney on Western "fiction" about the old order will be warmly welcomed in much of the Global South:

The woman filming was at home with her partner and 18 month old baby—with 3 more children at school.

Police told her she would be charged with "harboring a fugitive"—even though the ICE agents had no warrant.

1. Russia is already your neighbour.
You literally share a maritime border in the Bering Strait. Geography does not care about your feelings.

2. Greenland is about 1,970 kilometres (1,226 miles) from the nearest U.S. territory.
Russia is 4 kilometres (2.6 miles) away.
China is 7,774 kilometres (4,830 miles) from Greenland.
Russia is roughly 5,000 kilometres (3,100 miles) from Greenland.
But sure, tell us more about the “imminent Chinese takeover”.

3. Denmark is approximately 1,860 kilometres (1,160 miles) from Greenland.
Your description of Denmark’s relationship with Greenland is wrong.
But if distance or discovery is the standard now, then I assume Spain owns most of the Americas because a Spaniard showed up with a boat 500 years ago.
Also, minor historical detail: the Danes were in Greenland over 1,100 years ago.

4. You say you “saved NATO”.
Fascinating. Please walk us through this heroic feat, slowly, with sources.
