Pud-Ya’las is my Indigenous name, it means “one who feeds the people.”
This extends beyond western view of what food is.
The people I belong to are the Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw, &speak the language Kwak’wala=“those who speak Kwak'wala.”
This is the Gwa’yi Wolf Dance-KingCome Wolves.❤️
We have people in power making broad claims around certain drugs and autism that have been continuously disproven. The degree to which those comments can undermine public health, do harm to women who are pregnant, create anxiety for parents who do have children who are autistic – is violence against the truth.
What is Oneness?🌀
Oneness is the understanding that we are not separate from the world around us—we are an integral part of an interconnected whole. 🌍✨
This concept of interconnectedness is central to Buddhism, as it reveals that nothing exists in isolation. Everything arises in relation to everything else. The belief in separateness can lead to suffering, while recognizing our deep connection to all beings nurtures compassion, wisdom, and inner peace.
Just as trees share their roots and sustain one another, we, too, are woven into an infinite web of existence.
This week, take a few minutes each day to:
✍️ Reflect on a connection you’re grateful for and write it down.
🍽️ Eat a meal mindfully, savoring each bite and appreciating the effort and elements that brought it to your plate.
📺 Pick an everyday object and reflect on its journey—consider the people, resources, and processes that made it possible for you to have it.
And if you are able to, 🤲 volunteer your time or skills to support others, strengthening your sense of connection and contribution to the world.
What are some ways you contemplate oneness?
Let’s share and inspire each other. 💛
much metta 💓

🚨: This is the first-ever image of an electron’s orbit. You are literally looking inside a hydrogen atom.
For over a century, scientists have theorized what the quantum world looks like. Now we know.
There’s significant overlap between those who judge the disabled for being sick & blame the unhoused for being poor
People believe it’ll never happen to them. They can try harder their way out
The reality is homelessness & disability can happen to anyone & often occur together
Many Autists experiences Echolalia, which is “repetition or imitation of sounds, phrases, or words”
This can be for any number of Autism related reasons: stimmy, sensory seeking, passive mimicry, hyper/hypo sense related, divergent social norms, etc…

"Send LOVE" – What is Metta?
In Buddhism, Metta is a form of loving-kindness, a sincere wish for the well-being and happiness of all living beings. It’s about extending compassion and warmth, without conditions or limits. This doodle is a gentle reminder of how powerful love and kindness can be in transforming our lives and the world around us.
This week, let’s take a moment to pause, breathe, and send love to ourselves, to those we hold dear, and to the world at large.
I hope you’ve had a gentle start to your new year. 🙏

"Water the Seeds of Kindness" – What does that mean? 🌱
Within each of us, there are seeds—seeds of compassion, joy, love, and understanding. These seeds have the potential to grow and flourish, but they need care and attention. Every time we choose kindness, patience, or gratitude, we water these seeds, helping them take root and thrive.
In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to lose track of this. Life can feel chaotic, with responsibilities and distractions pulling us in many directions! But mindfulness gives us a way to slow down. It reminds us that even in the busiest days, we can create moments to nurture these inner seeds.
This week, try small, intentional acts to help water your seeds of kindness:
1) Taking a deep breath in a moment of frustration.
2) Offering a kind word or text to someone.
3) Practicing gratitude for something simple.
These small actions are like drops of water that nourish the seeds of kindness within us. And when we nurture kindness, we bring more peace and joy to our own lives—and to those around us.
What other ways can we water the seeds of kindness? 🌺 ❤️ 💦
💓 much metta,
molly
