This post is a little late. Life uhh finds a way, to delay my shameless self promotion.
This article covers the many ways you can implement Hypermedia with JSON Hyper-Schema.

In a couple of months I'll be speaking APIs yet again, but this time a little further away from home!
Come watch my talk, "Why I'm betting on REST" at @InnowaveSummit! https://t.co/O8uNVuE2bJ
@sharpfarts "Ok, so we're remaking a classic with an epic ending. A crazy, hectic building scene with an iconic swinging firetruck ladder. We gotta be different. How do we end it?" "I know. Smashmouth"
@DoerrfeldBill Great article! It's always challenging to try to explain my job, and I'm going to borrow some of these.
It's fitting that my response ended up in the "Why do I care?" section. I feel like I've been fighting that question for years.
@DoerrfeldBill I'm almost always describing APIs in relation to my job, so I say "APIs are how websites talk to each other. Have you ever used the 'Log in with Facebook' feature on a website? Well once you log in, an API is how that website accesses your Facebook information."
@mtiller@bengreen@restfest@jaffathecake I think the simple part is that if you ignore the new features, a good http2 library can look identical to an http1 library. Push defininitely adds complexity to the mix!
I hope to explore push in more detail with an upcoming project, thanks for the article!
Part 2 of Getting Started with JSON Hyper-Schema is complete!
Check it out over at @apisyouwonthate https://t.co/VLYO6nxays.
This article covers HTTP headers, HTTP methods, request bodies and response bodies. Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions!
JSON Schema's fanciest new vocabulary Hyper-Schema is exceedingly powerful, and @dashron explains more about how it can be used to add hypermedia controls (HATEOAS) to your API. Target hints, submission schemas, when to POST/PATCH/etc, etc. 🙌🏼

@jer_francis Awesome, glad it worked. We've got some dev site updates coming out in the next couple of months that will hopefully make this issue clearer!
