@owenthcarey@ClaudeDevs Stop believing any anti China BS coming out of these lab without using any of your brain cells. They have huge interest and it doesn’t match with yours at all!
Delta Sharing became one of the most popular ways to exchange data thanks to its open cross-platform nature. We’ve now expanded it to also support any Iceberg client and to share AI assets like agent skills and unstructured data. It needed a new name, so welcome OpenSharing!
The most valuable enterprise data is often the hardest to reach. That's why we're excited to join the @databricks Software-Defined Storage (SDS) Ecosystem as a founding partner.
MinIO AIStor natively implements OpenSharing at the storage layer, enabling Databricks to access on-premises Apache Iceberg and Delta tables through Unity Catalog without replication, migration, or additional data services. https://t.co/bihtNnN72q
@bingxu_@omarsar0 Anthropic is telling us a “Fable” about their “Mythos” family of Claude models. This is a very good marketing PR stunt which helps increase the valuation and hype their company before the IPO in October this year.
@omarsar0 Work faster? Was that “Fable” written by your “Mythos”? (French people will understand that one).
Why don’t you use your Fable 5 to work on it faster, like yesterday?
@omarsar0 Well done Anthropic the marketing PR stunt continues. Everyone should believe this AI model is very dangerous, and no one should be able to challenge this claim.
🚨 Anthropic just showed a 27-minute workshop on how to actually do prompts for Claude.
Taught by the people who built it.
Free. No registration. No paywall.
I've seen $300 courses that don't cover what they teach in the first 8 minutes.
Watch it and bookmark it now.
Managed Iceberg, Iceberg v3, and Foreign Iceberg are now GA in Unity Catalog, making Unity Catalog the most comprehensive, interoperable, and production-ready Apache Iceberg catalog.
What’s now generally available:
• Iceberg v3 support with deletion vectors, row tracking, and the VARIANT data type
• Managed Iceberg tables in Unity Catalog with built-in governance, optimization, and cross-engine access
• Foreign Iceberg tables that can be discovered, governed, and queried without moving or copying data
• External sharing to Iceberg REST-compatible clients through the open Delta Sharing protocol
• & more!
These capabilities bring governed, open, and production-ready Iceberg support together in a single catalog. https://t.co/mAHn1PwLsL
@thdxr That what they want you to believe to justify the AI data centre build out. How come Anthropic was able to find around 220k GPU? Who else has some unused GPU which can be used for inference?
@thdxr As long American’s AI Labs keep entertaining the lie of the AI race against China and the rest of the world, seeking for more control and constraints on China. Stop trying to dictate the world what they can or cannot do. But I guess this is asking too much from the US, right!?!
#Airflow just got easier.
New Registry = 1,600+ modules, 98 providers in one place.
Search, compare, configure, no more doc digging:

@TFTC21 That help him with his future IPO to play fear mongering. They allegedly release a security nightmare model, who can find all kind of old vulnerabilities, but totally forgot to use it to find vulnerabilities in their Claude Code as Security experts did in the code they leaked.
Anthropic CEO is playing fear mongering while building the problem he’s warning against, arguing if he’s not doing it on closed doors in his lab renting it behind a paywall, China will do it cheaper if not for free. That why Congress need to put legislative guardrails. Seriously!
Dario is wrong.
He knows absolutely nothing about the effects of technological revolutions on the labor market.
Don't listen to him, Sam, Yoshua, Geoff, or me on this topic.
Listen to economists who have spent their career studying this, like @Ph_Aghion , @erikbryn , @DAcemogluMIT , @amcafee , @davidautor
