Hi everyone! We’ve been recording quakes on an immutable public ledger called #Algorand for 3 years. Thank you to the community for all that you do — you’re wonderful 🙌
History needs proof and $ALGO helps.
@DataMuseum uses Algorand to preserve
records with verifiable origins.
That gives digital history a trail
people can inspect over time.
Proof should outlive the platform.
The challenge here is not only preserving information, but preserving trust in its origin and integrity.
This is exactly where blockchain can help by enabling verifiable digital records that serve as a foundation for preserving history and ensuring data integrity over time.
On Algorand, projects like @DataMuseum are creating digital historical artifacts by recording real-world events on-chain in real time, while LabTrace applies the same principles to research data.
@MarkDolfis Still running! Only problem is our automated @DHM_Alerts account got swept up in the Twitter api changes that make tweets paid and the number of posts it makes would mean it’s prohibitively expensive. We don’t really have a solution for that for the moment (open to ideas!).

When MakerX started, the idea of taking a team of nearly 50 people to Fiji would have felt like a dream, and last week, it happened.
We gathered as a team that usually spans multiple cities, time zones, and backgrounds for our 2026 company retreat. We spent time stepping back to understand what’s been working, what we’re learning, and where we’re heading next. We explored how AI is reshaping our work, and created space to align on the opportunities and challenges ahead.
Approaching half a century of Makers. Couldn't be prouder of this team.
(Stay tuned for our team activity Fiji post 🌴 📸 )
