This is the most important story of the day.
A Tulsi aide ordered a senior analyst to redo an assessment of the relationship between Venezuela’s government and a gang after intelligence findings undercut the WH justification for deporting migrants.

14/ Russia’s war is about more than foreign policy or economics. It’s about who we are.
The America I love, the one our grandparents served, would never stand by and let such horrors happen.
I think the student loan repayment topic is going to become much bigger financial news eventually.
40,000,000 Americans were essentially given a $500/month forbearance from the government for the past 5 years.
This was $6,000/year of consumption power that never should have been there, but it was there.
That’s $240,000,000,000 of annual spending that was essentially gifted by the government to consumers.
And that doesn’t count the multiplier effect of all that spending.
The real economic benefit was probably likely close to $500B per year, or 2% of GDP.
That’s stopping now.
Best case, borrowers repay their loans, and it’s just a $500B drag to GDP.
Worst case, borrowers cannot repay their loans, and then it’s a $500B drag to GDP anyway, but on top of that, their credit scores get hit, and therefore their access to other credit - for homes, cars, appliances, credit cards, etc. goes down - and it can easily become a $1T hit to GDP.
I’ll be paying close attention.
@JamesTate121 Trump's $184M banner stunt at the USDA is a grotesque ego trip straight out of a dictator's playbook. While he plays Kim Jong-un veterans and the elderly suffer. This isn't leadership; it's a narcissistic farce. Shame on him for turning federal buildings into his personal shrine.
🚨 This good neighbor caught shady “agents” in Highland, IL claiming to do wellness checks—each wearing mismatched vests labeled FBI/ICE/ERO/police.
Since when do they roll up together like that?
Vigilante brown shirts are testing boundaries.

This girl is a fully documented non citizen student that goes to UCLA and had 15 ICE officers aggressively banging on her door so she called a lawyer and was told to ask if they had a Judicial Warrant signed by a Judge, but she hasn’t posted since this post! Hopefully she’s okay.

Here's the thing, when you take classified documents to your private residence and then refuse to return them to the point where prosecutors have to bring charges, and you are then elected president and relentlessly target the prosecutors that investigated you - THAT is the weaponization, NOT the original charges for stealing classified documents. Just wanted to set that straight for @GOP who seem to be living in an upside down world these days.
