@awxjack@eglyman@karimatiyeh@tryramp Also, why single out Eric and Karim? Kind of odd behavior unless I missed where they’ve released comment on this topic?
@awxjack@eglyman@karimatiyeh@tryramp Gotta tell ya Jacko, when you’re accusing somebody of racism, I hope you have factual evidence or this is the definition of slander.
Have they ever called out your ethnicity? Or couldn’t their interest just be a result of you having employees in China?

.@tryramp had an advantage of keeping long-tenured employees, but that is changing. They reduced their 4 year stock refreshes to nearly nothing.
You’re seeing many talented employees at the leave the organization after 2-3 years. High workload + no equity is a tough sell.

ramp did an incredible job of keeping early hires and growing them into execs.
@geoffintech --> hired jan 2020 as the first product person, now chief product officer
@max11free --> hired april 2020 as the first SDR, now svp of sales
@diegozaks --> hired jan 2020 as the first head of design, now vp of design
knowledge and context compound over time, having execs who know what the business was like at ~$0 of revenue is such an incredible advantage
they know why most decisions were made, what went wrong, and what went right
they also have deep trust built over many years of operating together
incredibly difficult to replicate
@austinh___@geoffintech@max11free@diegozaks I have a few friends there and they’re going to start losing the benefit of tenured employees soon. Not solely because of competition, but because they essentially reduced their 4 year stock refreshes to nothing earlier this year.
Wild move for a 6 year old company.

@shaig Hi @shaig! This is great to hear - congrats. Any comments on this portion of the article?
I think it’s important to provide the full context of the article, not just the portion that shows Brex in good light. Thoughts? Cc @artlevy
