Introducing Airwallex AgentOS.
A toolkit for AI agents to work with Airwallex directly from @claudeai, @cursor_ai, or other terminal and chat-based agent environments.
Our company @stripe account got shut down bc we started processing 8 fig txs. No one answered our support emails, customer funds were stuck, it was a nightmare.
Switched to @airwallex, account was set up <2 biz days, compliance gets resolved sub 30 mins, couldn't be happier with their team. Pick partners who want you to grow.
Airwallex Shift is coming to London 🇬🇧
October 21.
We’re bringing AI founders, finance leaders, and senior operators together for an afternoon about AI and the agentic future of finance.

When I joined Twitter it was early and people told me it was a strange move and the company would never make money. I personally believed that where the internet met culture was interesting. That worked out.
When I joined Coinbase in late 2017 people told me crypto was for criminals. Some of the smartest engineers and investors I knew saw the potential to build an entirely new layer of financial infrastructure. I liked that Coinbase was choosing to build the safe compliant bridge between fiat and crypto. That turned OK too.
The work I have always found most interesting is closing the gap between what is true about a company, its founders and its products, and what people think they know about them.
We will not always get everything right but it is a privilege to help tell the @airwallex story at this moment because the truth about what the team is building is awesome, you will see. You should follow: @awxjack@shannonscott@kdotai001@awxlucy@PranavkSood
We have work to do!

After working with @JTLonsdale dating back to 2008, it's personally disheartening that his interests in competitive firms result in unwarranted propaganda towards @airwallex. After 11yrs at @PalantirTech, I joined @awxjack in Melbourne in 2020, and we've since been on a mission to empower businesses to operate across borders. Global finance is a a complex environment, requiring careful attention to regional regulatory requirements, data isolation, and system integrity. Airwallex approaches this complexity seriously, and with pride, just as Palantir did with sensitive government environments.
Important work by the House China Committee: Airwallex has founders with ties to China, 712 employees there, and Chinese laws that require the company to help CCP intel gathering on demand.
If you use Rippling, Deel, Brex, Navan, or Zip, it’s worth asking them if your US or intl payments run through Airwallex.
If so, there’s NO protection if the CCP decides they want to take a look.
I’m a founder. I like to focus on engineering and building rather than responding to false allegations. But there is so much here that I had to say something.
I was born in China, and I am a proud Australian citizen who immigrated there as a teenager. Australia gave me the freedom and opportunity to build this company. The United States represents that same promise more powerfully than anywhere else on earth.
Having employees in China is not, by itself, a security issue. The question is how customer data is protected. Joe knows that many of the world’s largest payments, banking and technology companies have employees and operations in China. What matters is the architecture, controls and safeguards governing access to data.
Our controls have been independently assessed, and our product and security teams include veterans of Palantir and the Australian Defence Force. These allegations did not originate with a security breach or regulatory finding. They originated with investors in Ramp, our direct competitor.
We have written to the Congressman and look forward to answering his questions. You can read the correspondence here:

A few big updates from the @Airwallex team over the past month:
We made T:0 generally available, now offer Affirm as a payment method, and shipped a lot more. Here’s the rundown ⤵
If you’re a business in France, you can now issue and receive e-invoices through Airwallex Billing and Airwallex Spend, helping you stay compliant with local e-invoicing mandates.
We’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what finance software should look like if you built it around agents from the start.
@t0finance is basically where we landed.
Try it and see what you think.
Building a company is chaotic.
Your finances don’t need to be.
T:0 is an always-on agentic finance team for all the "quick questions" you’d never bother your accountant with.
Now generally available.
Pumped to welcome the first @Latitude37AU cohort!
There’s a lot of ambitious AI talent coming out of Australia, and this group is a good example of it.
Looking forward to spending time with them in Australia, SF and Singapore over the next few months.
This is a really good way to think about where stablecoins are heading.
In a lot of cases, the existing rails already work well. But we’re also starting to see new use cases show up, especially as agents start moving money on behalf of businesses.
My guess is the future ends up being pretty mixed. Sometimes it’s a card, sometimes it’s a local payment rail, sometimes it’s a stablecoin. The important thing is the customer never really has to think about it.
Good piece on how we’re thinking about this at @Airwallex.
While I was at Coinbase, I kept wondering why @Airwallex hadn’t leaned into stablecoins.
A few weeks into my job at Airwallex, I understood why.

A little bit of Melbourne landed in Sydney☕️
If you were heading to a certain “Tour” at the ICC yesterday, you might have noticed @airwallex along the way.
We took over a café and Darling Harbour with one simple message:
Aussie-born. Globally built.
From a coffee and a currency problem in Melbourne to 600,000+ businesses around the world.
Not a bad Tour!
Plus, more updates across the platform, including the ability to:
> Create reusable branding themes for invoices
> Sync Airwallex Billing with QuickBooks Online
> Reach 55M European shoppers with Wero
> And more

A few useful updates from the @Airwallex team this month.
Our Fraud Attack Prevention Agent got smarter, the Expense Policy Agent can automate more approvals, and you can now customize surcharges and discounts.
Here’s the rundown ⤵
You can now also set variable surcharge or discount rates by payment method, card brand, card type, and more.
