@rr74cm@pastordmack@WWUTTcom Yes, it's reasonable to say the letter-carrier would have been briefed by the writer so they could correctly answer any questions.
@aaron_p_edwards Western feminism says women don't need men. Christian egalitarianism says men and women need each other and we all have to work together according to our gifts and callings.
@aaron_p_edwards and we also deny that these differences limit the roles of women (beyond reproduction). We believe that this is what the Bible, correctly understood, teaches, and it is quite different to western feminism. (2)
@aaron_p_edwards Evangelical egalitarians (including me) fully accept that men and women are different. We also note that the variations WITHIN each gender are just as large as the differences BETWEEN the genders. However, we deny that gender differences create a gender hierarchy, (1)
@WWUTTcom from NT Wright, and he may have overstepped the mark there. HOWEVER, the letter-carrier would have answered any questions about the letter, so there is also a strong case that Phoebe was the authoritative interpreter of Romans to the church in Rome. (2)
@mitchell_hurd I think he's talking nonsense. There is a CCTV camera at the front of the train that (according to the RAIB) shows the train going through the red signal. If this isn't the case, there's a massive conspiracy, which strikes me as incredibly unlikely.
@AnonSocials@railnigel Seatbelts on trains has been studied but the conclusion was that the cost far outweighed any possible benefits. Remember that train crashes are incredibly rare in the UK.
@TrainRealm@OgilvieCJ This may sound strange, but incidents, being random processes, often group together, and clusters of three are quite common. It's due to statistics. The link discusses this regarding plane crashes.

@mark395625 RAIB initial report says "FFCCTV shows that this signal was displaying a red aspect as the train approached and then passed it". If that's not true, there's a huge conspiracy at the RAIB, which strikes me as extremely unlikely.
@mark395625@railLKB I'm fully aware of that. But it was still a SPAD. Sunlight unlikely to be an issue as the track alignment is approx north-south. Not mentioned by RAIB.
@railLKB No. The report is clear that the front camera on the train recorded a red signal being passed. So it was definitely a SPAD by the driver. The report also says the train went through two yellows before the red, which is a hint the driver might have been resetting the AWS (1)
