@vzmercogliano Won’t be Beaudoin. Filling a 4th line role. Likely one of the vets. Keep Beaudoin getting big minutes in Hartford.

[David McGoldrick @DaveTheRave31]

@BNightengale I would make it a multiyear contract deadline. and contract signed thereafter is only a 1 yr deal

[David McGoldrick @DaveTheRave31]

@baseballisdead_ Rookie of the year is already named for Jackie Robinson. ROTY pitcher award named after Doc, or the safe route, Verlander. He’s retiring so could create it this year or next year

[David McGoldrick @DaveTheRave31]

@PSLToFlushing Bichette will also not execute his opt out because of the CBA uncertainty, in my opinion

[David McGoldrick @DaveTheRave31]

@Jolly_Olive @PSLToFlushing Also, if there is long lockout, the next time he could pitch might be 2028 at 39, coming off a very long layoff

[David McGoldrick @DaveTheRave31]

@JakeBrownLive Robert will get time in center with Ewing seeing less time or 2B until the deadline. Once deadline passes, if not dealt, Robert will platoon in CF/DH or be DFA since he won’t be needed next season

[David McGoldrick @DaveTheRave31]

@BNightengale set rosters at 26 active, but add 2 to 3 scratches, similar to NHL. minimum 1 pos player and 1 P scratch. all MLB paid. add'l restrictions - max consecutive games scratched before option/IL, service time accrues. provides flexibility for nagging/minor injuries & overuse

[David McGoldrick @DaveTheRave31]

@mets @SNYtv @metsradio880 last home weekend of the season. Gary and Howie need to do a full inning on radio together and Howie needs to do a PBP inning on SNY

[David McGoldrick @DaveTheRave31]

@metsnewsletter @WillSammon What about Tyrone Taylor and the IL for his hip?

[David McGoldrick @DaveTheRave31]

@AnthonyDiComo My guess is Thornton, he's on turn with Holmes, pitched 6ip 3H 0R 9K vs Yankees AAA on Friday. Wenninger threw 61 pitches on Sunday in 2.1 in, only gave up 2R but struggled with command. Don't think he would be ready for Wednesday. Thornton also gives them lefty SP option

[David McGoldrick @DaveTheRave31]

@PSLToFlushing @sal_licata Todd Hundley was defintiely not fast

[David McGoldrick @DaveTheRave31]

@CJNitkowski Here's a fix, on days when Ohtani starts on the mound, another pitcher is designated as inactive for that game. That selected pitcher also cannot have started any of the previous 3 games (this would avoid deactivating the previous night's starter who wouldn't be used any way)

[David McGoldrick @DaveTheRave31]

@TalkinBaseball_ Starting pitchers in these types of incidents should be suspended minimum 10gms of play, but fined 5gms of salary

[David McGoldrick @DaveTheRave31]

@WardyNYM As long as Vientos is on the team, Baty should play 1B with Polanco DH vs RHP, Polanco 1B Vientos DH vs LHP

[David McGoldrick @DaveTheRave31]

@michaelgbaron At this point I hope so. Could be a valuable bench guy and would def get picked up by another team. If Lindor is not ready, my guess would be Bru gets the spot and Benge would start in the minors until Lindor was ready

[David McGoldrick @DaveTheRave31]

@TheSDHotel With the DLC setup in this manner, why not move to a Fortnite format, with a free-to-play base game and monthly Ringside Pass subscription w/ Continuous refreshes and annual performance updates. Roster regularly updated and understanding that characters may be removed over time

[David McGoldrick @DaveTheRave31]

@WardyNYM @Mets Didn’t they sign Lovelady to a MLB deal this offseason? What a waste of a million dollars

[David McGoldrick @DaveTheRave31]

@JakeBrownLive Worst case for Robert Jr. is he’s an expensive version of Acuna with more power - late inning PR, elite defensive in CF - worst case

[David McGoldrick @DaveTheRave31]

@DJMets33 1. Bellinger - perfect fit - Contact/power - can play all 3 Of at GH level as well as 1B.
2. Robert Jr. - Short Term (2 yrs) at 20M AAV - hitting bounced back at the end of 25. Great defense (Benge/Taylor in LF)
3. Yelich - only in a trade with Peralta. LF/DH. May learn 1B
