@Tony_Scott11 To be fair, from another angle it shows the refs view is blocked so I think the ref didn’t give anything view isn’t relevant in this case, although agree it isn’t a red.
@Knox_Harrington There are surely many instances that referees don't see because they are in a bad position or to far away, a player runs across there line of sight or its off the ball so they don't make a decision because they haven't got a view of it. Threshold should be out the window then.
@PhilBlundell I think the ball is running though to van dijk aswell, i don't think beto is collecting the ball (although I've only seen it once from the wide angle) I think his is also what saves Trent for the Gordon foul against Newcastle, Endo is on the cover and the balls running to him.
@GraemeKelly1@Jack_Moore7 Not saying your wrong but he had 6 months with a 'goalscoring' number 9 (Mane or Jota) so therefore a different role to Mane with Bobby at 9. And I think its harsh to read into any of this season at all for all the mitigating factors.
@SamMcGuire90 VVD's body shape is literally 180° out as there best player is taking his first touch to drive into the box. If hes anywhere near in the correct position he steps in and tackles or pushes him away from goal.
@SamMcGuire90 Cant believe the midfielders are being blamed for this when VVD literally has his back to the ball at one point in this play. Small mistakes from Naby and hendo. Big one from VVD. Get over it and move on.
@DanKennett My worry/suspicion is that when they sit down to analyse these decisions In the coming days and all decide they are the correct decisions and pat each other on the back. There appears to be no self improvement, just fire fighting and defending every decision they make.
@DaleJohnsonESPN@weltch15 Are blocks? I.e shot from the edge of the box, comes off defender trying to block the shot and lands at the feet of an offside player?
