The Directors of CO—RE are very sad to announce the death of Julian Vickery, one of the original founders of the company and a true character in the construction world.

It’s great to see our #FleetStreet development moving forwards with Chinese Estates investing £429m to transform River Court & the former Daily Express building into a 21-storey #office tower.
Set to complete in early 2026.

The #façade install is now underway at 20 & 22 Ropemaker featuring bright beige Portuguese Crème Royal #limestone to blend with Islington’s traditional #stonework.
Take a look at the progress on site & some of the people making the development happen.

We’re delighted that @72upperground has been granted planning permission by @lambeth_council. 72 Upper Ground will be a great addition to the #SouthBank’s current cultural offering, bringing new workspace, jobs and investment to one of #London’s most famous destinations.
20 & 22 Ropemaker is under #construction and due for completion in 2023.
Photographer Lee Mawdsley has captured the progress. So great to be working on this fantastic project with Old Park Lane Management, @MakeArchitects and @SkanskaUKplc.

Here are our 2021 highlights:
@JohnMcelgunn A great visionary architect with a talent for encouraging clients to be bold. Thought you might like the enclosed Lloyds photo (from Courtenay Blackmore’s archive).
RIP Richard Rogers. Radical visionary architect, his Lloyds Building allowed the City to look to the future. Pic from the archive of Courtenay Blackmore who led the development for Lloyds.
I will miss Barry enormously - he created a network of developers, designers and passionate Londoners which has been key to this city's pre-eminence and confidence over the last 30 years. RIP my friend. https://t.co/ETXx5Bqg3a

After spending years behind closed curtains, we are excited to be able to return the Daily Express Building to its former glory and open up its stunning art deco foyer to the general public, as part of our approved plans to redevelop 120 Fleet Street.
