@SW689908 Already had people asking can they sell them on for games they don’t want to attend. Then they will moan when there is a cup final and they are excluded.
🚨 | EXCLUSIVE: Bazake can exclusively reveal a leaked image of the "retro away days" alternate version of the union flag Andy Burnham plans to use on official state visits should he become prime minister. The design is inspired by football shirts from the 1980s and 1990s.
@dipsMUFC@TraMufc If anyone wants to volunteer to wash some flags over the summer, it’s similar colours only and if you can chuck some unstoppables in that would be lovely.
Massive appreciation for @TraMufc - They have transformed the Stretford End this season - the flags, the colour, the effort behind it all. It looks superb and it makes a huge difference. Looking forward to seeing what next season brings with the return of European nights 😎#MUFC
@MUFC_AMGF1@OhCheesesChrist@SeatGeek It wasn’t. Last season you were able to do this too it was just QR’s. Also screen shots got you in.
It’s better but needs to be more secure.
@OhCheesesChrist@m00nigan@SeatGeek No they are free to add you as app ticketing and download your ticket. You would never know. You would still see them as standard unless you logged on at the exact time they were doing it.
"Your tickets are secure, are you f**king sure"
Despite Manchester United’s assurances that digital NFC tickets are fully secure, a major flaw in the @SeatGeek ticketing platform leaves supporters highly vulnerable to unauthorised access. By knowing a fan's Supporter ID and just their surname or postcode, anyone can unauthorisedly view, download, and use their tickets without the owners knowledge.
This has already resulted in legitimate ticket holders being turned away at both home and away matches because their tickets had already been scanned.
The issue was deliberately kept quiet during the season to minimise disruption, but with the Premier League aiming for fully digital tickets next season, it must be prioritised over the summer. The risk is exacerbated by a club culture where fans have widely shared their Supporter IDs for ticket-forwarding purposes, and instances where Manchester United emails have inadvertently exposed this information. The author urges @SeatGeek and the club to implement a secure, user-led authorizlsation process rather than relying on flawed off-the-shelf solutions.

Please repost, this is important for all clubs now digital ticket is the future, not just #MUFC
Polite reminder not to take any flags home with you on sunday.
If you want to help at HT/FT please take them to the back of the stand.
thanks

Reclaim The Stretford End – Update
🇾🇪TRA have now designed & funded over 350 flags as part of the RTSE campaign and prior to the Leeds game we announced that 180 of these would be introduced into Stretford End Tier 2.
🇾🇪The Club also contacted everyone in both T1 & T2 who had a ticket for the game on our behalf, explaining that our resources are stretched to the limit and we can't do this without the help of fellow Stretford Enders, resulting in approximately 25 responses.
🇾🇪Before kick-off approximately only 60 of the 180 flags were used and at full-time over 40 were taken out of the stadium, a handful of which were recovered by stewards at the exits or Reds outside the ground. We're happy to admit some responsibility for this as we could have been clearer that the flags were not gifts to be taken home but are paid for by the fans and should therefore remain in The Stretford End for use at every game. Lesson learned.
🇾🇪Taking all of this into account, we’ve decided to remove all remaining flags from T2 and concentrate our efforts on T1 for the remainder of the season. Until we have a team of volunteers in place in both tiers that’s capable of managing such a large number of flags.
🇾🇪For the Brentford game therefore, we’ll have all flags (over 350) in T1, including the remaining waver flags and the new 18m flag that were originally intended for T2.
🇾🇪We’re working hard to ensure that T2 will again be fully involved in time for the start of the new season but this will only be possible with the help of a suitable number of volunteers up there so please keep an eye out for future communications regarding this. If you’d like to help out in T1 for Brentford and can get to Old Trafford the day before the game, you can send your details (name, membership) to [email protected] and we’ll be in touch nearer the game.
🇾🇪Cheers🇾🇪
