I think there will be both a merger and a premium. Timing is an issue. SPCX is a rocket ship, and TSLA mostly flat lately. Even a 30% premium may be the wrong move if it takes 6-12 mos. Elons response here makes me think this isn’t happening soon. May be a backup plan but if SPCX hits 10T he just buys TSLA outright? Like a “hostile but friendly” takeover? And nobody can outbid him?
