@NeilSpyBarnett They don’t look very sharp to me. Bill Shankly once said that you have to play on your toes. We basically play on our heels. Nowhere near fit enough
@doctor_oxford I went Papworth this week. It’s a palace. A five star building costing millions. A maintenance man with a pot of paint could have fixed that in an hour.
@BeckettUnite What does a consultant doctor earn on average. One of those it takes six months to see on the NHS but you can see them privately tomorrow.
If you cap MPs salaries to low all you will get is rich people in government .
1 week today, we face the following price rises:
• Stamps ⇧ 15%
• Water Bills ⇧ 7.5%
• Rail Fares ⇧ 5.9%
• Energy Bills⇧ 20%
• Council Tax ⇧ 5%
But, hey, the cap on bankers’ bonuses is getting lifted so at least there is that.
Mugged in broad daylight
@dermotor Same junior doctors that will be complaining in a few years time that will only be able to put a million pounds in their pension pots. A figure way beyond what the average wage earner could ever achieve.
To those complaining that junior doctors could earn more in a Pret. If you worked at Pret for 40 years you wouldn’t earn as much as a doctor would accrue in their pension pot.
