Finished my last law school finals yesterday; graduation this weekend.
Although I know none of them in person, thanks especially to @RealChrisLangan, @tenshi_anna, and @StevenDeLay4, whose writings kept me from despair during some of the difficult parts in the past 3 years.
Very poignant phrase in Husserl’s essay ‘The Origin of Geometry’ where Husserl says that people fall victim to the “seduction of language’, in which they parrot words and understand them in a merely associative way, without connecting them to original personal insight, experience
Basic metacognition:
Hmmm ok I should increase my brain temperature and energy production through things like thyroid and vitamin B1 so I will be more able to solve complicated problems and navigate through life better

@RealChrisLangan- if you see this and have time to respond... I recall hearing you say that when you're approaching a problem, you model it in the CTMU first. Have often wondered if you have an example somewhere on the web of how you'd go about doing this for some specific issue.
@MetapolitikerX Yeah! That's what it was a reference to.... was reading Balázs M. Mezei's "Apocalyptic Phenomenology" (worth reading, imo) and just musing on the progression from Husserl's start with logic and math investigations towards this phenomenology of revelation.
@tenshi_anna@tenshi_anna - open to praying with you, if you'd find it helpful. I also suggest you study Michel Henry's "Essence of Manifestation" (critique of Hegel/Western Phil. generally) if you haven't.
