A market target isn’t a blood oath…
The path changed, so I changed with it. FinTwit’s inability to update a view when the facts change is exactly why so many people are unprofitable.
:-)
Summer sell offs don’t really need a big reason, they just need a first seller.
One ordinary red day can create an air pocket over a few sessions, and by the time everyone agrees on the fundamental explanation, index can already be 5-10% lower.

The market has become so efficient at pricing things in that we can now fit a three-month correction into about three trading sessions and be back at all-time highs a few weeks later.
Boom… Made a decent sized upside bet for SNOW earnings.180c 06/18… bought @ 6.9 on 5/14, upped it to 70bps. Trimmed half pre-print at 15.3.
Stock now +38% premarket, call ~61.
Early in my trading career, I felt uneasy if I wasn’t constantly in the market—FOMO was real. In hindsight, it was a waste. Most of my best trades are the ones I didn’t take. Focus on high-conviction setups. You might only get one trade a week—but that’s the one that matters.
@ZeeContrarian1 Good to have a voice balancing out all the noise.. the last CL trade would have worked amazingly if the short 88 expired one day earlier.. but position sizing saved the day .. you are one of the best follows on X 🙏
This is my allocation, less diesel dependency and favourable jurisdictions (Canada)
TIER 1 - Foundation / Low Risk (40%)
AEM - 15% (trimmed from 20%; still the anchor, premium compressed post-correction)
AGI - 12% (unchanged)
KGC - 8% (unchanged; Great Bear optionality still long-dated but valid)
WDO - now elevated; see below
TIER 2 - Growth Engine (40%)
ARIS - 10%
EQX - 10%
TXG - 10%
GMIN - 10%
TIER 3 - Asymmetric Upside / Discovery (20%)
WDO - 12% (promoted from Tier 3; becomes the portfolio's zero-debt, pure-Canada compounder)
HSTR - 5% (trimmed from 8%; pre-feasibility risk warrants smaller initial position, reload after Ana Paula study)
GGP - 3% (trimmed from 5%; Havieron underground thesis intact but Telfer diesel exposure is a thesis inconsistency I can't ignore)
