@farnesius1773 @MdSlutty Did you know? There is no data to support the claim that men are better surgeons and there IS data that women are better surgeons. Sounds like you’ve made an explicitly wrong and shamefully sexist statement.
When I say this study is devastating, I mean it hurts me to my core.
Study upon study has revealed that children, and even our babies, are not exempt from racist perceptions and treatment in healthcare. And it is killing us.
As a Black woman and pediatrician this hurts so much.
Kudos to #California for being the first state in the nation to extend #postpartum health benefits for women on #Medicaid! Importantly, this extension only applies to women with a diagnosed maternal #mentalhealth condition & is being implemented using state-only funds.
In my medical opinion, it’s normal—important even—for women to have a WAP. Vaginal lubrication is common & orgasm experience depends on the individual. We should not shame women who have WAP.
If you have questions about your WAP please call a gynecologist, not a radio show host.
The risks of Covid are not equally distributed. White people denying Covid harms is just another shade of white privilege. It’s not a #Scamdemic, if #AllLivesMatter then #WearAMask.

By the will of the voters, Missouri has passed #Medicaid expansion! By voting #YesOn2, Missouri becomes the 7th state to take up expansion since 2016 & the 6th to do so via the ballot box. @acog knows Medicaid is a women’s health success story!
Your publication does not ignite discussion on diversity. Folx opposed to the ideas you promote ignited that discussion long ago. Your publication instead affirms and gives voice to the status quo of anti-Blackness. #RetractRacists#MedTwitter@acogdistrict9@acog
@Jaha_aha
Though wrongly listed as research, the article is a racist tirade thinly veiled as academic by cherry-picked citations, collated by a non-historian, and lacking context. Did your peer review process include an expert on the social context of race and medical education?

Hi! Whether you‘re a doctor or layperson, please share this message.
1. #Anatomy of the clitoris should be covered in the same depth as that for other organs.
2. #femalesexualmedicine should have anatomic basis.
3. Doctors who operate on vulvas should know clitoral anatomy.
@JVascSurg reminds us that chauvinism and objectification of women is alive and well in surgery. Apologize for perpetuating sexism and stigmatizing protecting women’s healthcare access now. Change your board now. #medbikini#retractthepaper@ACOGAction
Anti-Blackness is a public health issue.
Police violence is a public health issue.
Our nation’s refusal to address racism and the way Black people’s pleas for justice and demonstrations are met with force is a public health issue.
We cannot continue to ignore it. We’re sick.
Thank you @ACOGAction for taking the lead to make an already safe medication more accessible. #AccessIs making the world more just and fair for women. #TrustWomen
This morning I was going to #RunWithMaud, but I was reminded that as a white person this action is just another example of white privilege: something I have the privilege of doing daily without fear. It's a hollow promise without real action to save lives like Ahmaud Arbery's.
A black man who was jogging in his neighborhood got slaughtered & no one's saying or doing anything. Black people deserve better than what the world gives us. We're treated as less than human. The murderers' names are Gregory/ Travis McMichael. SPREAD NOW.
