@PertGherkin @THEBRYANHITCH Yeah, that diagram shows the EU parliament approving legislation, exactly like UK parliament. British citizens have power over legislation by electing effective MEPs to represent us. Other parties are involved, eg courts, exactly like in every democratic country.

@PertGherkin @THEBRYANHITCH UK civil servants are not elected. MPs are elected, who do not write the detail of laws. MEPs are also elected. There's no difference.
