@mysterboat1@MrBazz And you don't find any problems in your player progressing the ball all into the penalty box and finding himself alone? Isn't real Madrid supposed to be the best counter attacking team? There was plenty of time for 3 of your players to make the run
@m_YDNA@_CallMeDennis_ That's not how stream numbers work. The planet fitness is only 1 stream, I device playing, regardless of how many people are listening
@fritzglitchwork@BasicKaren99@Mr_Husky1 Live in Louisville, 15-20 minutes drive from downtown. Cincinnati is 2hrs to the north, Nashville 2hrs south, Lexington 1.5h. on the other I could rent a 2bd apartment for the same rent as the mortgage or twice the mortgage directly downtown. You got to be smart
@teddy_macke@BasicKaren99@Mr_Husky1 Property taxes are always included in the mortgage and I've found at around $200k, the mortgage is about the same or lower than renting.
@xserphas@john99308549@Mr_Husky1 Live like a king, be prepared to pay. You proved the point the original post was making perfectly. If you would rather a 1 million dollar 2 bed flat in NYC rather than a $200k Nashville or Louisville home, you don't get to complain about affordability.
@JohnBeanPoobag@Mr_Husky1 You need $40k down if you are buying a $400k+ house.
In any US city, there are perfectly livable 1500sf homes around $150k-$250k. Mine is 3bd, 1.5baths, basement. Cost $190k after fees, taxes, and renovating basement. Down payment of $12k. Mortgage of $1200, same as last rent
@spacehand2002@counter_pt@MephWanderer@Mr_Husky1 A quarter of the population is 90 million, the 50 biggest cities in America only add to about 50 million (15% of total). More importantly in every single one of these cities, the median pay is much higher than the nation wide average. So I don't know where you got that number
@ThePurpleGringo@MephWanderer@Mr_Husky1 It's not even that. Even 3 full time McDonald's workers wouldn't be in such dire circumstances as comment implied. Hell, even 1 full time entry level McDonald's wage pays enough to scantily live on
@MephWanderer@Mr_Husky1 Initially you said 3 full time professionals. You should at least be consistent. Being professional means nothing if you are not actually working. If you can't get the job you want, you can always at least do min wage until you find a position
@MephWanderer@Mr_Husky1 No you don't have to and I'm sorry if I seem callous but 3 incomes shouldn't be in such a bad situation, not 3 professionals nor at minimum wage. If you are genuinely in that state, there's something wrong and at the very least you need to examine that. Consider an accountant
@kris_breault@UziCryptoo At $2400 you will be net taker of taxes if you do your returns right. Technically, speaking, if you are below the poverty line($32,000) in my state, you don't pay taxes, the state pays you.
This is why the bottom 50% only pay like 1% of total tax revenue
@Mrbankstips This is stupid, I don't know whether to cry or laugh. I mean why don't you point out that South America also appears smaller? Or that Canada, China, Russia, etc are also bigger? Because you want to make it racial by insinuating the discrepancy specific to Europe and Africa
@UziCryptoo Saving a little bit here and there won't change the picture. My advice: rent with roommate, seek promotions, and look into getting skills and skilled jobs. $15 McDonald's job isn't meant to support a full life though as you can see, it doesn't necessarily need to fail either
@UziCryptoo Single person:
$15/hr(40hr/w)(4w/m)=$2400/m
-below poverty line, technically no tax, qualifies for Medicaid.
$1200 rent + $200 utilities + $200 car ins + $400 food +$400 disc spend
It's bad but livable. Loans, that's on you. In the meanwhile, learn skills to improve wage.
@FerroceneCloud@Mr_Husky1 I bet you haven't actually done the math. A 1000 sf house costs exactly the same, if not cheaper compared to earnings than it did then. You are just talking out your bum
@KCharlesRoss@Belstain@RawMilKUltraD@Mr_Husky1@grok Yep. Recently bought house we were renting for $160k. Rent=$1260, mortgage $1200. Louisville.
3 bdr, 1.5 bath, 1520sf. It had an unfinished basement and we spent about $12k, adding 2 bdr, 1 bath storage and laundry room, and a gaming/exercise room and now is worth $240k
@JohnBeanPoobag@Mr_Husky1 Really?
Mortgages cost the same as rent.
When you consider it that, if you make the $32k poverty rate and you can't afford to live the equivalent of a 1950s lifestyle, then you don't have problems, you are the problem
