🚨As first reported by @ramy_abousetta, understand Andy Rinomhota to be one of many players of consideration to Owls ahead of summer.
Lots of moving parts, difficult to see direction / likely strength of interest at this early stage.

Following requests from supporters wanting to contribute smaller amounts, the @SWFCTrust are proud to launch our community fundraising page in support of fellow Wednesdayites. 🦉
We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to @swfc for their support in helping make this initiative possible. The Club has been instrumental in facilitating the scheme and we are proud to be delivering it in partnership, ensuring the process is both secure and accessible for supporters who wish to contribute.
This fund will be used in three key ways:
🦉 To purchase season tickets for supporters who may otherwise be unable to afford one, with recipients identified through a nomination process.
🦉 To support match ticket initiatives throughout the season, helping first-time attendees and supporters facing difficult circumstances experience Hillsborough.
🦉 Any remaining funds will go towards mascot packages or replica shirts for children who may otherwise miss out.
The response to this initiative so far has been absolutely incredible and once again shows exactly what this fanbase is all about.
No donation is too small. Every contribution has the potential to make a genuine difference to somebody’s connection with Sheffield Wednesday.

#OnThisDay 10 long years ago - the dream was over for @carloscarvalha2 & #SWFC - at least the Wednesday fans turned up !

#OnThisDay in 1983 - after 6 unforgettable years, during which he signed some fantastic players, gave us Boxing Day and Promotion and most importantly, gave us our Wednesday back - the #SWFC#Legend that is Big Jack Charlton #RIP resigned as Wednesday manager #WAWAW
🚨 Wednesday have confirmed they have now sold 17,000 season tickets for the 2026/27 League One campaign, meaning they have sold more than they did for last season already!
A fantastic effort up to now. Absolutely fantastic. 👏

Some supporters have reached out recently asking if there was a way to donate a season ticket to somebody who may otherwise be unable to afford one.
We’ve listened.
Today, the @SWFCTrust are launching a season ticket donation scheme which will allow Wednesdayites to directly help fellow supporters within our community attend Hillsborough next season.
The idea is simple:
🦉 Supporters can donate any season ticket category
🦉 The Trust purchases and holds the ticket
🦉 The ticket is then allocated to a deserving supporter prior to the start of the season.
Football is for everybody. We know there are supporters out there currently facing difficult circumstances who may otherwise miss out on following Wednesday next season.
If you would like to donate a season ticket, please contact us directly via DM or at [email protected] and we will provide payment details and further information on the scheme.

New #SWFC chief executive David Bruce on his big hope for the 2026/27 campaign: "We want a rocking Hillsborough next season because if that place is rocking you'll feel better, the players will perform and we'll get out of this league quicker than we thought." #SWFC 🦉⚽️
"I think the chairman just killed our Championship from then... As soon as he sacked Darren Moore."

Whilst it’s not certain that Sheffield Wednesday will be away on the opening day, it is perhaps more likely than normal.
During the Administration process, the EFL requested clubs submit fixture preferences ahead of the new season.
One of the requests submitted by the Joint Administrators was for an away fixture on the opening weekend, as we felt the new owners may appreciate additional time to complete all of the work required at the stadium following the takeover.
I’ve no idea whether this will ultimately be preferable to the new owners, but at the time the decision was made, all we could do was make a strategic call based on the information available to us.
Tom Costin, part of Arise Capital who recently bought Sheffield Wednesday, spoke publicly for the first time at the @SWFCTrust AGM last week. Here’s some of what he said in a video message to the #SWFC supporters in attendance
It's been suggested that #SWFC - who are expected back at Middlewood Road in late June - hope to spend a week at St George's Park and a week on camp abroad as they prepare for the 2026/27 campaign.
