@AjBrault Their top 3 starters were hurt, and Jed (again) whiffed on the bullpen signings. I think the pitching evaluation has to change, if that means getting rid of Hottovy then do it. Can’t surrender that many homers all year

@TheConnorPils I know man, I’ve been on this train of thought since they brought Craig in. Very rarely do you see Craig make a bad decision and leave his guy for failure. They pinch hit sheets. You can’t guarantee that.

@Matthewm_27 So again, playing the matchups and trying to make the hitters have the disadvantage. When players are put in a favorable matchup. They have to succeed. No manager will look good if the players always underperform.

@Matthewm_27 Pivetta: lefties hitting .173. Righites hitting .250. It’s not close. Shaw was the right move, not really debatable there. Also, Palencia was brought in and couldn’t be subbed out. And again I will point to, why is Palencia the highest rated reliever in our pen…..look deeper.

@Matthewm_27 We’re just not going to agree. Lol. The starters have not been good. Ben brown was still the highest rated starter and he was out since June. Who you trade for just does not matter either. Lol. Holmes looked 10x worse than Palencia in his last start too.
