Forty-year-old Christopher G. Robertson was kayaking in Georgian Bay in Collingwood, Ontario, when the kayak took on water and capsized.

He held onto his overturned kayak and called for help. Jamey Ruth Klassen, 16, high school student from Guelph, Ontario, was on the beach and entered the water and swam about 600 feet to the kayak.

By then, Robertson had submerged. Seeing him on the bottom of the lake, Jamey dived 12 feet and pulled him to the surface.

Jamey positioned Robertson face up with his head on her shoulder. He was unconscious and not breathing.

Grasping him around the chest with one arm, she used the other arm and her legs to swim toward shore with Robertson.

Jamey was nearly exhausted and shouted for help. A man on a paddleboard responded, and he and Jamey placed Robertson on the board.

The man took Robertson to shore, where he was removed from the water. Jamey swam to shore. Robertson was revived and taken to a hospital, where he was treated. He recovered.

A 2-year-old boy was kidnapped and driven nearly 200 miles from home.

Then a trucker spotted the getaway car on a Tennessee highway. But stopping it with a little boy inside wouldn't be easy.

Jim Lowe had heard the AMBER Alert earlier that day. When he noticed a suspicious car on Interstate 24, he checked the license plate.

It was a match.

The kidnapper was still driving, and Jim knew he could escape before police arrived. So he grabbed his CB radio and called for help.

Within minutes, three massive 18-wheelers were moving into position around the car.

The truckers spread across the highway, boxing the suspect in. Then they began slowing down together, leaving him nowhere to go.

When police arrived, they arrested the driver and found 2-year-old Cael Whitehead inside.

He was safe and unharmed.

Jim Lowe, Austin Morris, and their fellow truckers had never met Cael. But they refused to let a kidnapped little boy disappear.

They started their day hauling freight. They ended it helping bring a little boy home.
