#1 They are removing restrictions from EVM so anyone can deploy contracts.

#2 Also removing the exorbitant subnet registration fee and making it similar to a contract deployment fee, which should incentivize a lot more subnets.

#3 subnet tokens to better align incentives and "punish" useless/extractive subnets

Overall, these two things combined should implement substantial demand for TAO in practice, rather than in an abstract future.
