@jayair At a certain scale, being average is good enough for investors and founders alike. Many value money above all, not virtue or morality or wisdom. So how do we "maximize value"? By appealing to the average taste of the largest possible market.

I find that the more time I spend writing out the task, the less time Claude takes to build what I want. Aside from a few small tweaks, I spend little time correcting Claude with this approach.
I did the same when I was getting my business off the ground. I'd set my alarm for 5:36, go downstairs, and drink coffee outside in the cool air while the sun rose.
I got two hours of work done before 9 AM. I resigned from Stripe a few months after starting that routine.
I miss those days. It's easy to see now just how much more I enjoyed making it than having it made.

@jeffrey_way@adamwathan I’ve never understood the whole-app-in-one-shot argument. The results are always significantly worse than building with a multi-shot approach.
People don’t necessarily need to learn to code as much, but they should absolutely learn how to build effectively.
