The CEO of Thames Water is set to be paid £1.5 MILLION despite her company dumping raw sewage an average of 22 times A DAY last year.
Anyone else think that's terrible value for money?
Right now, 98 MILLION people on the East Coast are under air quality alerts from Canadian fires and, last night, NYC had the worst air quality in the world. Climate change makes wildfires more frequent and widespread. If we do nothing, this is our new reality. It's time to act.
Between 2018 & 2021, sadly 11 people accidentally drowned in Surrey. All were men.

Please open the conversation around water safety in your life. #BeWaterAware

Float. To. Live 🛟
If you get in trouble in the water, lean back and spread your arms. Don't fight the water.
Do you know how to #FloatToLive ? 🌊
If you get into difficulty in water, floating on your back gives you the chance to catch your breath and assess your situation. Once you are calm, call for help or try and raise your arm to make people aware.

If you see someone in trouble in open water.
*Shout for them to stay calm & control their breathing.
*Tell them to get on their back & float
*If you have something that floats throw it to the casualty
*Call 999 ask for the fire service if ur inland or the coastguard at the beach
