@dampscot They tried to get regional assemblies, no one wanted them (apart from the southwest). I'm not keen on splitting up England.

@dampscot Like the £10 tax for the NHS I can't see an English parliament happening. Maybe if Scotland becomes independent, otherwise no.

@dampscot Its based on a percentage of total spending, the English part too. Barnet is acknowledged to be a poor system and needs changing.

@dampscot Our re-offending rate is truly shocking. They are trying to solve this by making prison harder. Might not be the best solution.

@dampscot Hiring staff would be the ideal move but it already costs something in the region of £80k a year to keep a prisoner.

@dampscot Same thing I'd imagine, easy to sew drugs into the hem. Difficult to search without destroying them, leading to complaints.
