@BenColeyGolf It’s horrific and they should try and stamp it out! Detracts from the spectacle which might be the thing that finally makes the USPGA/PGA tour do something about it. It’s the traditions and etiquette that make golf so great!

@GolfMonthly I used to be an Ecco loyalist, with the Biom G3 Gore-tex shoes but had 2 that split by the left toe after about 13 months. Ecco wouldn’t help at all. Shoes had been cleaned, polished after every round and dried slowly. £209 x 2 so unlikely to risk it again. Shame as felt 👍

@pmak27 @TheMasters Played Lytham on a calm day shot mid 80’s and St Andrews shot 76, much more open and big greens. They’re doable but if the elements come in then no chance. Equally played Wentworth West 3 times and only broke 90 once and shot over 100 twice so…🤷

@pmak27 @TheMasters Maybe a little more chance over here on the links where they can’t get silly with the green speed but over in the states would be impossible, more grains, high stimp etc. Anaxing how many fancied taking him on, lure of playing 🐯 and 💰 I guess, plus ego 😂

@pmak27 @TheMasters Agreed. It’s like the question of whether you’d take £1m now or play prime Tiger over 72 holes, beat him on any hole & you win a £100m, lose and you go to jail for a year! What would you do?? Fluke a win on a par 3, hope Tiger makes a mess of just 1 hole, or take the £1m & walk
