@alexanderov91 @les7spellman Actually, sales for assault rifles sky rocketed after the war in Iraq. People saw their war heroes returnin w/ a specific style of weapon and wanted to mimic them. The AR-15 had similar appearance n so the sales took off. Prior to this, most gun enthus viewed em as unnecessary.
