when I was young, the worldwide threat was global cooling, and the solution proposed was full communism. then later the threat became global warming, and the solution was full communism. nowadays the threat is AI, and you'll never guess what the solution is. yep, full communism

I want to again bring attention to James Alex Fields. in 2017 a violent mob of antifa members (terrorists) attacked his car, so he feared for his life and accelerated. An obese woman died of a heart attack after contact. For that, he received 2 life sentences + 419 years.
An antifa professor named Dwayne Dixon, who has now fled the country to avoid the FBI’s investigation of antifa terrorism, literally admitted to chasing James with a firearm. Dixon was also charged with two misdemeanors during a different event, one of which was “going armed to the terror of people.”
Liberals jeered as Fields was sentenced to TWO LIFE SENTENCES PLUS 419 YEARS IN PRISON for accelerating his car in an attempt to escape a violent mob which was bearing down on it, and actively attacking his car in an attempt to get at him. Leftists were literally brandishing firearms at him, and he was sentenced to prison for trying to escape.
And now that an ICE officer shoots and kills a woman who was trying to run him over and kill him, the left is suddenly pretending that attacking people with a car isn’t a real threat. Because it’s only a real threat when a Right Winger bumps a fat woman with his car, and she dies — HOURS LATER — of a heart attack. When radical leftists like Hasan incite the murder of conservatives and conservative politicians, and then try to literally murder law enforcement, apparently it just doesn’t matter.
There are two major flaws with the idea of having the Republican Party lose so that we get something better as an end result.
The first major problem with this is you will allow a Democrat landslide victory who will proceed to import and provide amnesty to as many people as possible to increase their pool of voters, also use every aspect of the regime to destroy you, and will guaranteed have by pure numbers enough votes to rule till the end of time.
The other major flaw is that this doesn’t account for the fact that the Republican Party as it exists now is perceived as an undergoing radical, insurgent change against the previous conservative order Pre-Trump. Those who existed prior to Trump still hold very large amounts of power, money, and sway over institutions.
A major sweeping loss of the Republican Party now will have you contending with all of these people, who will propose the following counter narrative:
Trump and the MAGA movement moved too far into identity politics, were too offensive, too racist, too radical, and we need to return to a party of respectable conservative, small government, family values and fiscal responsibility.
And if that happens, if there is a major destruction, mark my words, that side would win in reforming the Republican Party, and making it a more gay, more immigrant friendly, more controlled opposition, beautiful loser Conservative Party than it ever was before in history.
Bellcurve/political spectrum meme; left and right agreeing "leftists want to destroy civilized society" while center says "nooo leftists just want you to have healthcare!"
These people are vile. We have a once in a lifetime opportunity to mobilize the entire basebehind a initiative to shatter the left and their terror NGO structures and they're trying to turn it all into a discussion of Israel.
Let’s remember Charlie Kirk by his best work.
Black people
“Happening all the time in urban America, prowling Blacks go around for fun to go target white people, that’s a fact. It’s happening more and more.”
Black pilots
“If I see a Black pilot, I’m gonna be like, ’Boy, I hope he’s qualified.’”
Black women
“They're coming out, and they're saying, 'I'm only here because of affirmative action.' Yeah, we know. You do not have the brain processing power to otherwise be taken really seriously. You had to go steal a white person's slot to go be taken somewhat seriously."
Civil rights
“We made a huge mistake when we passed the Civil Rights Act in the mid-1960s.”
Death penalty
"[Death penalties] should be public, should be quick, should be televised… I think at a certain age, it’s an initiation… At what age should you start to see public executions?"
Democrats
“The Democrat Party supports everything that God hates.”
Empathy
"I can't stand the word empathy, actually. I think empathy is a made up new age term that does a lot of damage."
Feminism
“Reject feminism. Submit to your husband, Taylor. You're not in charge."
Gay people
“You might want to crack open that Bible of yours. In a lesser referenced part of the same part of scripture, is in Leviticus 18 is that, ‘thou shalt lay with another man shall be stoned to death.’ Just sayin’! So Miss Rachel, you quote Leviticus 19… the chapter before affirms God’s perfect law when it comes to sexual matters.”
George Floyd
“This guy was a scumbag.”
Great Replacement Theory
“It's not a Great Replacement Theory, it's a Great Replacement Reality. Just this year, 3.6 million foreigners will invade America. 10-15 million will enter by the end of Joe Biden's term. Each will probably have 3-5 kids on average while native born Americans have 1.5 per couple. You are being replaced, by design.”
Guns
“It’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment.”
Jews
“Jewish donors have been the number one funding mechanism of radical open-border, neoliberal, quasi-Marxist policies, cultural institutions and nonprofits. This is a beast created by secular Jews and now it’s coming for Jews, and they're like, ‘What on Earth happened?’ And it's not just the colleges. It's the nonprofits, it's the movies, it's Hollywood, it's all of it.”
Martin Luther King Jr.
“MLK was awful. He's not a good person. He said one good thing he actually didn't believe.”
Muslims
“They aren’t even hiding their intentions. Muslims plan to conquer Europe by demographic replacement. Will Europe wake up in time?”
Palestine
“I don’t think the place exists.”
Transgender people
“You’re an abomination to God.”
Charlie Kirk, 1993-2025AD.
Ave Atque Vale
America, the Republic, is probably dead.
It is not dead specifically because Charlie Kirk is dead, though that is not unrelated.
It is dead the way that the Roman Republic was dead towards the end. The Roman People, and Rome as a powerful world bestriding power were not dead at the end of the Republic. Indeed, the high point of Roman territorial control came much later.
But the old ways, the old culture, the old system of government was dead.
Like with the Roman Republic, we can haggle over exactly when you think the cancer became terminal, and there was no longer any way out of the final end. Was it in 133BC with Tiberius Gracchus was killed, having heralded a new age of aggressive populism and political assassination? Was it between 91 BC and 80BC, when the Social Wars began, and then Marius and Sulla engaged in civil war and dueling proscriptions and mass murder? Was it in 49BC when Caesar crossed the Rubicon? Was it in 31BC when Augustus defeated Marc Antony, and then declared himself Princeps a few years later?
The last one is basically when the patient gets put in the coffin, so it’s definitely over by that point. When they actually died is a little harder to say. With the benefit of hindsight, one can easily chart the path from each event to the next. What they have in common is a pattern becoming increasingly familiar in modern America. A long-running and entrenched conflict between two political sides. A gradual undoing of compromises and gentlemen’s agreements that keep transitions of power civil, and everyone incentivized to play the repeated game. A cycle of escalation and counter-escalation, where each breach of norms by one side is treated as justification for some other breach of norms of the other side, until things have devolved into assassinations, and civil war, and suspension of normal modes of government, and ultimately, to a wholly new system of government, the Roman Empire.
Importantly, when you look at these events, you can also see that quite a few decades passed between them. Even fast events are not immediate, and often involve intermediate forms of government. There were three and a half years between the storming of the Bastille and the execution of Louis XVI. There were eight months between the February Revolution and the October Revolution in Russia. There were whole lifetimes between the events above in Rome.
History is best thought of as stochastic. We saw one particular realization, a set of outcomes with some chance components where some outcomes were highly likely, and others were pretty likely, and others were total random flukes. We only see one roll of the dice, and have to judge as best we can whether it was very likely to end up something like this, or if it all could have been averted.
But it is the regularity with which escalation followed escalation that showed a consistent path, and a consistent logic – a game of tit-for-tat breaking down into defect-defect. And each breach of norms made people wonder – is this really it, are we done here?
You would think that they would know. Okay, maybe not everyone. But surely the most powerful and connected players would realize at some point? Surely the men most capable of seizing power, and inflicting necessary cruel violence, surely they would know when the Republic was dead?
Not necessarily. After the Gracchi Brothers, Rome indeed seemed to return to normal. Perhaps they were just an aberration. Marius implemented a reign of terror in Rome, but died as consul before he was able to cement permanent control for himself and his allies, so maybe he understood. But Sulla, after becoming dictator and killing most of his enemies, he really thought he could restore the Republic! Even Julius Caesar, after winning the civil war, turned up to the Senate to get stabbed to death. You turned up without bodyguards? Did you think you were just a man of the people, that the Senate wasn’t filled with your enemies?
Augustus got it. But it took a long time.
You should probably assume that if you were living through a period that future historians would describe as “the American Republic was probably already dead at that point”, you also would not realize it.
I’ll link in the next post to old attempt I wrote in 2022 at guessing how future historians might write it all up. It didn’t predict the attempted assassination attempt on Trump. Do you think that strengthens the case, or weakens it?
In general, you do not want to be the last one to realize that the Republic is dead. You do not necessarily want to be the first one, breaching norms like crazy decades before the case is terminal - indeed, you may or may not even live to see the final outcome in such a case. But what I mean is that it is important to understand when the long term prospects for peaceful transitions of power between competing factions are becoming increasingly remote. When the threats and escalations are increasing. When both sides start to suspect that if they lose power, they and their supporters and families will all wind up dead or in jail. When both sides are starting to suspect that the only question left is who is going to be able to seize power, and how, and when.
The bad news is that belief that the Republic is dead can quickly becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
But the choice is not just yours to make. If we all believe it’s alive, it can still be alive!
Unfortunately, it is an arms race, and a coordination game. Can you see the people defecting all around you? Do you think they will stop defecting if you stop? What events of the last 50 years make you think this? Which parts of history?
If the Republic is dead, the main thing that matters is what comes next, and how much bloodshed and carnage can be avoided in order to get there in the shortest time possible, and crucially, who and what institutions will rule over what follows.
You would rather it be you than your enemies.
On the left is Howard Winfred Long II, the Assistant DA who dismissed charges against DeCarlos Dejuan Brown on two occasions—once in 2013 for Injury to Personal Property and again in 2014 for Injury to Real Property. He is now a defense attorney and partner at Browning & Long, PLLC in Charlotte.
On the right is Madelaine C. Colbert, who dismissed charges against Brown in 2015 for Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. She continues to serve as an ADA for Mecklenburg County.
Look, they just support it. They hate you because you are white. They all hate you. They will come up with any excuses to justify violence against you and live at your expense.
It's all they can do, all they have ever done, all they will ever do. There is nothing to discuss.
