@rtg142857 But it ia preserved, that's how momentum is kept when you jump on them, also, this is how you speed up when you make make infinite fall, until you get maximum speed
@rtg142857 Sorry, but English is not my first language and physics was a really disappointing degree in my school, what does "energy being conserved" means in this example?
@missing_var@Chrispykins So the only reason is because the box is so light that air moved it? That I can agree, but in a vacuum or a heavier box is A, or at least that's what I think
@rtg142857 Why not? When does the speed of the box changes? We're dose this energy comes from? I think this hole argument is if people consider the box perspective or not, and I think it does matter, because it can't accelerate like that out o nowhere, with no force pushing or pulling it
@rtg142857 The box wrt the floor did change direction when it is thrown thru a portal, but it's momentum was unchanged wrt the box, how is it difrent in the moving portal? The box keeps its momentum aka not moving and changes its direction
@markosinjo0@Chrispykins The outside perspective I ment the blues perspective, and I think that all perspectives matter, and they don't influence each other, becose there is no force being applied to the box
