@juleshorn01 The nervous system paying the price for a fight between the mind and the present moment…that’s one of the most accurate descriptions of modern overwhelm I’ve read.
If you’re using running as your main stress coping tool,
here’s what you need to be aware of if;
Running is my favorite way to handle stress, but there is something that most people forget...
Running still stresses the body.
Your nervous system doesn’t distinguish between psychological and physical stress.
It only feels de-stressing because of the powerful neurochemical cocktail released in your brain.
But if you’re already mentally fried from a demanding job and you’re using daily running to “regulate,” that’s a fast track to burnout.
Let me know if you are someone who enjoys using running to de-stress.
@newstart_2024 From personal experience, fasting and staying very well hydrated during long flights makes a huge difference for jet lag. I’ve found it far more effective than most travel hacks. On this one, I think both Dana White and Bryan Johnson are onto something.
you don't manifest abundance. you ask the body where to walk next, then walk. that's it. the entire system. the rest of us complicated it on purpose so we could feel busy.
@G_S_Bhogal Totally agree with Arnold. If the problem is real enough to talk about, it’s real enough to act on…and the gap between those two is where most energy goes to die.
Enhanced Games should teach you an important lesson about human physiology.
Athletes using performance enhancing drugs.
Breaking world records.
“Cheating” every step of the way.
Still need medical supervision and guided protocols.
Here's the irony:
Even with all drugs available, these athletes have more recovery structure than most high-achieving CEOs I know.
You're running on:
→ 5hrs sleep
→ Zero deload weeks
→ Constant mental load
→ Back-to-back meetings
→ Pre-workout instead of breakfast
No medication, No peptide, No supplement, No hack can ever replace the need of a solid recovery routine.
Pushing hard without recovering smart…
It's just damage.
Let me know if what you think is the most essential to your recovery 👇

@OptiMindInsight Great point. If I had to pick one thing it’s quality sleep. Everything else, performance, resilience, decision-making and recovery, seems to build on that foundation.
